Publication number: 20250118061Abstract: In an embodiment, a computer-implemented method combines data from a lidar sensor and camera. A point cloud collected from the lidar sensor is received. The lidar sensor is mounted on a vehicle. A plurality of lines of points from the point cloud are identified such that each of the identified plurality of lines of points is at a substantially different angle from a plane of a road the vehicle is driving on. An image captured from the camera is received. The camera is mounted on the vehicle, the image having been captured substantially simultaneously with the point cloud. Using an image analysis algorithm, a plurality of objects in the image are identified. Respective objects from the plurality of objects are correlated with the identified plurality of lines of points.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 8, 2024Publication date: April 10, 2025Applicant: MOBILEYE VISION TECHNOLOGIES LTD.Inventors: David BOUBLIL, Amittai Elia COHEN-ZEMACH, Roy STEINBERG, Gilad Avraham BARACH

Patent number: 11633879Abstract: A method for forming a prosthesis comprising a bone-like portion and a cartilage-like portion can comprise additively manufacturing a first positive mold in accordance with a portion of a first three-dimensional model of a portion of a bone. A first negative mold can be formed from the first positive mold. The bone-like portion can be created within the first negative mold. A second positive mold of the bone and a cartilage can be additively manufactured from a second three-dimensional model. A portion of the second three-dimensional model can correspond to a portion of the first three-dimensional model. A second negative mold can be formed from the second positive mold. The bone-like portion can be positioned in the second negative mold so that the second negative mold and the bone-like portion can define a cartilage space that can be filled with a material to form the cartilage-like portion of the prosthesis.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 2021Date of Patent: April 25, 2023Assignees: United States Government As Represented By The Department of Veterans Affairs, The Trustees Of The University Of PennsylvaniaInventors: Brendan D. Patent number: 10970083Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for implementing an educational mode on a portable computing device, such as a tablet computer, that is a single-user system, used serially by multiple users. Each user can have a separate user storage that may be encrypted. The computing device boots as a system user to a login screen. A first student user enters user credentials into the login screen. The computing device can reboot the user-space processes, while leaving the kernel running, rebooting the computing device as the first student user. When the first student user logs out, data to be synchronized to, e.g., the cloud, can be synchronized for the first student user while a second student user is logged into the device.Type: GrantFiled: January 28, 2019Date of Patent: April 6, 2021Assignee: Apple Inc.Inventors: Jonathan E. Drummond, Anthony R. Griffin, Andrew B. Cato, Benjamin E. Nielsen, Daniel T. Kurtz, David Steinberg

Publication number: 20200358765Abstract: In some implementations, a controller device can implement communication restriction configurations on a managed device operated by a first user with a first account identifier, the configurations designed to limit a feature or functionality of the managed device. For example, the controller device can remotely cause the managed device to limit the communication capabilities of the first device. For example, the first device receives a message including the configuration. The managed device determines that the communication restriction configuration is created by a second user of the controller device. The first device identifies a second account identifier for the controller device. The first device determines that the second account identifier represents a member of a family group that includes the first account identifier.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 30, 2020Publication date: November 12, 2020Applicant: Apple Inc.Inventors: Reed E.
