  • Publication number: 20230226771
Abstract: A 3D printing apparatus and method confirms that one or more print parameters was satisfied in the printing of a 3D object. Sensor readings are obtained during the printing of the 3D object. Based on sensor data corresponding to the sensor readings, a confirmation is made as to whether the one or more print parameters was satisfied in the printing of the 3D object.

  • Patent number: 11705877
Abstract: Envelope tracking power amplifiers with advanced gain shaping are provided. In certain implementations, a power amplifier system includes a power amplifier that amplifies a radio frequency (RF) signal and an envelope tracker that controls a voltage level of a supply voltage of the power amplifier based on an envelope of the RF signal. The power amplifier system further includes a gain shaping circuit that generates a gain shaping current that changes with the voltage level of the supply voltage from the envelope tracker. For example, the gain shaping circuit can include an analog look-up table (LUT) mapping a particular voltage level of the supply voltage to a particular current level of gain shaping current. Additionally, the gain shaping circuit biases the power amplifier based on the gain shaping current.

  • Patent number: 11698549
Abstract: A multi-view (MV) display panel includes a flat panel display (FPD) having FPD pixels, and lenses configured to image the FPD. Each of the FPD pixels, when imaged through one of the lenses, forms a beamlet that is emitted in a direction unique from other beamlets formed by other FPD pixels through the lens. The lens and the FPD pixels which, when imaged through the lens, form beamlets emitted in different directions collectively configure an MV pixel. Each of the FPD pixels includes multiple sub-pixels. The MV display panel also includes a diffuser arranged between the FPD and the lenses, and a light block configured to isolate a diffusion of the multiple sub-pixels of each FPD pixel from its neighboring FPD pixels. The FPD may be backlit using custom lighting and optics. Lens elements may be staggered in a manner that facilitates assembly of the lenses.

  • Publication number: 20230141459
Abstract: A 3D printing apparatus and method corrects for skew in the motion components of the apparatus without the use of an independent reference object. A calibration object having features therein or thereon is printed. A user rotates the calibration object by a certain angle after it is printed. The features in/on the calibration object are measured, and an amount of skew is determined based on the measurements. In addition, a 3D printing operation is compensated based on the effects of a coefficient of thermal expansion and/or moisture absorption on dimensional changes.

  • Patent number: 11641986
Abstract: Dispensers are capable of being used in one orientation for dispensing paper towels upwardly when situated on a countertop and also in a second orientation for dispensing paper towels downwardly when mounted on a wall or other surface. Moreover, the dispensers can be easily modified to present a different finish by installing the desired outer shell components on the dispenser. The dispenser utilizes an inner cartridge adapted to house a stack of interleaved paper towels. The paper towels are urged by a spring toward a dispensing slot situated on a housing surrounding the cartridge. The spring urges the leading paper towel in the stack toward the dispensing slot in either orientation for convenient access to the towel by a user.
