  • Patent number: 9151201
Abstract: Dosing structure (30) supplies diesel fuel to an exhaust passage of a diesel system. The dosing structure includes an electrically operated control valve (31). An inlet tube (45) is coupled with an inlet of the control valve. A first welded joint (6) is between the inlet tube and the control valve. The inlet tube is constructed and arranged to be coupled to a supply of diesel fuel for feeding fuel to the control valve. A dosing valve (32) is constructed and arranged to receive fuel from the control valve and deliver the fuel to the exhaust passage. An extension tube (33) is fluidly coupled between the control valve and the dosing valve to space the control valve from the dosing valve. A second welded joint (62) is between the extension tube and the control valve and a third welded joint (64) is between the extension tube and the dosing valve.

  • Patent number: 6692299
Abstract: Connectors for forming an end electrically accessible termination on a center conductor and for electrically accessing an outer conductor of a conventional coax cable are disclosed. The use of such connectors with conventional triaxial cable in a low frequency three-phase electrical power supply application is also disclosed. The connector for accessing an intermediate conductor in a triaxial cable and for accessing an outer conductor in either a coaxial or triaxial cable features a flanged base member and a flanged cover member disposed over the base member wherein an exposed end portion of the conductor being accessed is trapped between the members, preferably including between their flanges. The flange of one of the members is folded over the flange of the other one of the members and crimped, as with a suitable crimping tool, to secure the members together with the conductor tightly sandwiched between them to form a low resistance connection between the conductor and the cover member.

  • Patent number: 5998749
Abstract: A single pole, snap action, sump pump switch is disclosed having a housing containing a single electrically conductive contact arm with a contact mounted on a forward end portion, which arm is pivotally movable between on and off positions. The contact arm contains a pair of pivot tabs projecting from opposite sides on a rear end portion thereof, which pivot tabs fit within rearwardly opening, triangularly shaped notches on a U-shaped terminal. The notches form a fulcrum about which the contact arm rocks through the U-shaped member when switching between the on and off positions. An actuator arm is pivotally mounted between a pair of shoulders formed on opposing sidewalls within the housing and projects out of a rear end of the housing for connection to a float bulb assembly. A forward end of the actuator arm fits within a recess in one end of a pivot bushing.
