Abstract: Systems, methods and computer-readable storage media are provided for allocating resources in a data warehouse. A table of resources may be retrieved from the data warehouse, the table including a plurality of records, each record having data that describes a resource to be allocated. A first resource described in a first record of the table of resources may be reserved pursuant to a first rule of a first stage. The first resource may then be allocated into one or more records of a working allocation table pursuant to the first rule.
