  • Patent number: 11961096
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are described for determining compliance with a plurality of restrictions associated with one or more devices in an organization. First text indicating restrictions may be received, and second text indicating a current configuration of one or more devices may be received. Both sets of text may be processed by, e.g., removing a portion of the text based on a predetermined list of terms and simplifying the text using a lemmatization algorithm. A first vector and second vector may be generated based on the processed sets of text, and each vector may be weighted based on an inverse frequency of words in their respective text. Each vector may be normalized based on semantic analysis. The two vectors may be compared. Based on the comparison, third text corresponding to a portion of the second vector may be generated and transmitted to a third computing device.

  • Patent number: 11924440
Abstract: The present disclosure describes techniques for coding and decoding video in which a plurality of coding hypotheses are developed for an input pixel block of frame content. Each coding hypothesis may include generation of prediction data for the input pixel block according to a respective prediction search. The input pixel block may be coded with reference to a prediction block formed from prediction data derived according to plurality of hypotheses. Data of the coded pixel block may be transmitted to a decoder along with data identifying a number of the hypotheses used during the coding to a channel. At a decoder, an inverse process may be performed, which may include generation of a counterpart prediction block from prediction data derived according to the hypothesis identified with the coded pixel block data, then decoding of the coded pixel block according to the prediction data.

  • Patent number: 9204394
Abstract: A wake-up radio is configured to scan for transmissions while the radio receiver is in sleep mode. The wake-up radio detects incoming RF transmissions intended for the radio receiver by analyzing data frame characteristics in an incoming RF transmission. The data frame characteristics may contain a signature code that is unique to the radio receiver. The signature code may be based on the time duration of a sequence of orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) symbols received in a clear to send to self (CTS2S) transmission or a time duration of short interframe spaces (SIFS) used to transmit the data frames.

  • Publication number: 20150310570
Abstract: A pricing rules engine identifies a plurality of potential competitors for a travel property and identifies one or more rule conditions. The pricing rules engine performs a pricing correlation on the plurality of potential competitors according to the one or more rule conditions and determines, based on a result of the pricing correlation, at least one of the plurality of potential competitors to be included in a competitor set. When an offer price exceeds a rule threshold, the pricing rules engine adjusts a sub-rate price discount for the travel property according to rates charged by competitor travel properties in the competitor set. When the capacity for a given room type satisfies the rule threshold, the pricing rules engine adjusts a price modifier for the given room type according to rates charged by competitor travel properties in the competitor set.

  • Patent number: 9160461
Abstract: A frequency source, such as for a wireless communications device, configured to have a duty cycle adjustment. A selected harmonic spur resulting from operation of the frequency source at one duty cycle may be avoided or minimized by operating the frequency source at a second duty cycle. Determination of the appropriate duty cycle may be based on measuring the amplitude of the harmonic spur as it appears in the output of a receive chain of the wireless device. Alternatively, the duty cycle may be set to desired value to avoid or minimize a given harmonic.

  • Patent number: 9009253
Abstract: A method for optimizing resources on a web server is provided. A web page may include areas for displaying content that is time consuming to retrieve. The content may be geographically far away or the content server itself may be slow. A caching proxy between the web server and the content server responds to requests for data immediately, with or without the data requested from the cache. On a cache miss, the caching proxy asynchronously retrieves data so that the next time the same content is requested, the data should be available in the cache. Asynchronous retrieval means that no valuable resources are tied up on the web server while waiting for the content to be provided from the content server. The initial web page sent from the web server to the web browser includes retry logic. The data may be retrieved from the cache during one of the retries.
