  • Publication number: 20230307866
Abstract: A terminal position assurance member for use with an electrical connector. The terminal position assurance member includes a rigid frame member and one or more compressible seals. The rigid frame member extends from a conduct receiving surface of the terminal position assurance member to a connector mating surface of the terminal position assurance member. The one or more compressible seals cooperate with the rigid frame member to provide sealing between the rigid frame member, a housing of the electrical connector and conductors inserted into the terminal position assurance member. Any insertion force applied to the conductor receiving surface of the rigid frame member will be translated through the rigid frame member to one or more terminals of the electrical connector, allowing the one or more seals to remain compressible to provide the sealing characteristics required.

  • Patent number: 10158806
Abstract: A camera system includes a processor, a camera coupled to the processor, a display coupled to the processor, and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to store a first image in the memory, modify the first image to generate a modified first image, the modified first image corresponding to the first image at a reduced opacity, control the camera to capture a real-time preview, overlay the modified first image on the real-time preview to generate a combined preview, output the combined preview to the display, capture a second image using the camera, and store the second image in the memory.

  • Publication number: 20180352074
Abstract: A method including steps of communicatively coupling a first network device, such as a mobile phone, with a wireless transceiver, which may, in some embodiments, be integrated into a vehicle. The first network device may include specialized logic stored thereon. The method may include additional steps of receiving, by the first network device, a first beacon transmitted by the wireless transceiver and determining, by the logic of the first the network device, a value indicating a signal strength of the first beacon. In response to the value indicating the signal strength of the first beacon is greater than or equal to a first threshold, restricting, by the logic of the first network device, a predefined list of one or more functionalities of the first network device, wherein the one or more functionalities comprise a predefined list of functionalities of the first network device.

  • Publication number: 20180352372
Abstract: A method including steps of receiving, by a cloud server, a predefined list of one or more functionalities to restrict, the predefined list generated via user input and communicatively coupling, by a wireless transceiver, with a first network device is disclosed. Additional steps include transmitting, by the wireless transceiver, a first message to the first network device, the first message configured to prompt a software application installed on the first network device to obtain a value indicating a strength of a detected magnetic field, wherein the magnetic field is generated by one or more magnets, and responsive to the value indicating the strength of the detected magnetic field is greater than or equal to a first threshold, restricting, by the software application, the predefined list of one or more functionalities of the first network device.

  • Publication number: 20160077013
Abstract: A multi-layered laminated test strip detector for formaldehyde is described which simplifies significantly the qualitative detection and quantitative determination of formaldehyde in aqueous solution or on the surface of wet solids. Layers of water soluble polymer are used to separate chemical reagents that otherwise will not be stable, and/or encapsulate the chemical reagents on bibulous material. Introducing the sample or wetting the detector through holes in a laminated encapsulating envelope permits the aqueous sample to dissolve the solid barrier when the sample is introduced and contact the reagents and the analyte, thereby forming color on the back side of the detector.

  • Publication number: 20110050546
Abstract: The device is eyewear that aids people with low or impaired vision. The eyewear consists of miniature cameras and thin-film transistor (TFT) screens which are powered by a portable battery pack. These items (cameras and TFTs) are imbedded into the eyewear frames. The person with low or impaired vision wears the eyewear like regular eyeglasses, the cameras collect the images, and the TFTs display them in a manner in which the person can easily view the images in a light controlled environment. The eyewear is portable and can be folded like regular eyeglasses.

  • Publication number: 20060066117
Abstract: A posthole digger for digging deeper and narrower holes while maintaining a general uniform diameter therethrough includes a pair of handles that are offset and angled from each other so that their movement doesn't occur in the same plane, and secured at the lower end of each handle is a blade having a lessened radius of curvature for excavating holes. Each blade includes a neck portion and the neck portions partially overlap for receiving a primary attaching fastener that provides the pivot point for the handles and blades. In addition, the neck portion of each blade has formed thereon a slide slot that aligns with a respective aperture formed on the other neck portion. The slide slots delimit the range of pivotal movement of the handles and blades, prevent the blades from striking each other during the excavation process, and set the position of the handles for opening and closing the blades.
