  • Patent number: 11951601
Abstract: A powered fastener driver includes a driver blade movable from a top-dead-center (TDC) position to a bottom-dead-center (BDC) position for driving a fastener into a workpiece and a drive unit for providing torque to move the driver blade from the BDC position toward the TDC position. A rotary lifter is engageable with the driver blade and configured to receive torque from the drive unit for returning the driver blade from the BDC position toward the TDC position. The lifter has a body, a drive pin coupled to the body, and a roller positioned on the drive pin. The roller includes an engagement section configured to receive an end portion of a tooth of the driver blade. The lifter includes a means for aligning the engagement section with the end portion of the tooth on the driver blade to facilitate meshing between the end portion and the roller.

  • Patent number: 6017679
Abstract: A water processable photopolymer composition for use in the manufacture of flexographic photopolymer printing plates is disclosed. The composition includes a flexible polymer having an affinity for water combined with a combination of hydrophilic and hydrophobic ethylenically unsaturated crosslinking agents or a single crosslinking agent containing both groups, a photoinitiator and swell enhancing components.

  • Patent number: 5496685
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of effective amounts of UV absorbers in a thermoplastic, elastomeric, composition layer of a photosensitive printing element, wherein said layer comprises a thermoplastic, elastomeric, asymmetric, star-shaped block copolymer, to produce enhanced exposure latitude, as well as a method of producing a printing plate with the printing element. The UV absorbers most likely act as internal scavengers of scattered UV light and thereby enhance the exposure latitude of the printing element. The invention also relates to the photosensitive composition of the element.

  • Patent number: 5496684
Abstract: The invention involves a photosensitive composition and a printing element made from the photosensitive composition as well as a method of making the printing element. The photosensitive composition is made from a blend of a crosslinking photoinitiator with an asymmetric, multi-branched, block copolymer containing (a) a polymer block A having at least predominantly a polymerized alkenyl arene block, (b) a polymer block B having at least predominantly a polymerized conjugated diene block, (c) a polymer block C having at least predominantly a polymerized conjugated diene block, and (d) the residue of a multifunctional coupling agent. Block A and block B form the structure A-B and the multifunctional coupling agent is between at least one block C and the block B of at least one A-B. The photosensitive composition may optionally include an ethylenically unsaturated crosslinking agent.

  • Patent number: 4686172
Abstract: A photosensitive elastomeric composition which comprises a high molecular weight elastomeric diene polymer having a number average molecular weight (Mn) of about 30,000 to 125,000, and a Mooney viscosity (ML-4 at 100.degree. C.) of 35 or higher; a low molecular weight diene polymer having a number average molecular weight of about 1,000 to 25,000; a photopolymerizable, ethylenically unsaturated cross-linking agent; and an addition polymerization initiator activatable by actinic radiation.

  • Patent number: 4527237
Abstract: A data processing system comprising an active and intelligent main store including a main memory, a main store controller for accessing the main memory in a manner allowing different address and data structures, and a main store bus connected to the controller. At least one processor of a first type is connected to the main store bus, this being an auxiliary processor for performing input-output and other operations. At least one processor of a second type also is connected to the main store bus, this being an execution processor for fetching, decoding and executing instructions. All or some of either or both of the auxiliary processors and execution processors may be different. A supervisory processor for initiating configuring and monitoring the system is connected to the main store bus. A communication bus is connected to the processors of the first and second types and to the supervisory processor. A diagnostic bus connects the supervisory processor to each of the processors of the first and second types.
