  • Publication number: 20110265641
Abstract: A force amplifier comprising a housing is provided. The force amplifier includes a force assembly positioned in the housing. The force assembly comprises an input force component, an output force component, and an intermediate force component rigidly coupling the input force component to the output force component. An assist piston is positioned in the housing. The assist piston is coupled to the force assembly. A regulating piston is positioned in the housing. The regulating piston is coupled to the force assembly. The regulating piston controls the supply of a pressurized fluid acting on the assist piston.

  • Patent number: 4967987
Abstract: One leg of an angled mounting bracket is formed with an access hole sufficiently large to insert an end of a cable assembly through the hole, the assembly including a cable, a flexible conduit slidably receiving the cable, a tubular fitting fixed to the cable and a boot on one end of the conduit. A plurality of slots extend outwardly from the access hole to provide somewhat of a keyhole configuration. Each slot is sized to receive the conduit fitting of the cable assembly. A single lock plate slides across the access hole in a manner to cause edges of the lock plate to engage the cable assembly fittings and rigidly hold them in a fixed position. Retainer portions on the plate and the bracket hold the plate in face-to-face contact with the bracket.

  • Patent number: 4846322
Abstract: A shift mechanism for use on vehicles with transmissions having no park gear, comprising a mechanism for shifting the transmission into neutral when the shift handle is moved to the park position and for applying a brake, said mechanism having a motion translator connecting the shift handle and transmission so that moving the shift handle from the reverse position, away from the neutral position and to the park position, shifts the transmission into neutral.

  • Patent number: 4806042
Abstract: A quick-disconnect coupling used to connect two members of a linkage in such a manner as to form a rigid coupling capable of transmitting push, pull or rotational forces, and allow quick and easy manual disconnection without longitudinal or rotational movement of either member or loosening of components which would affect linkage adjustment. An eye and clevis are provided with two holes therethrough. In each hole is a placed a spring pin connector comprising a pin for insertion into the hole, a snap for attachment to the body of either the clevis or eye, and a strap connecting the snap and pin.
