  • Publication number: 20230406579
Abstract: Disclosed herein are containers. Also disclosed are methods using the containers and methods of storing substances in containers. The containers have a glass base and a plastic cap and provide for child-resistant containers. A user can releasably remove the cap from base. For example, the user squeezes opposite corners of the container cap, which releases a locking mechanism and allows for removal of the cap by lifting or pulling the container cap off from the container base.

  • Publication number: 20200207543
Abstract: A system for containing and disposing solid waste includes a container and a structure for supporting the container. The container has an opening attachable to the structure. The structure includes vacuum ports, a heating element, and may have an air-tight sealing device or material. The container is attached to the structure, waste is placed inside of it, the container is sealed, vacuum removes gas from the container, and the container is then sealed a second time using heat.

  • Patent number: 10488468
Abstract: The inventive disclosure disclosed herein is generally directed to an improved portable-charger testing system (CT System) is an automated test system designed to screen-out defective units in a high-volume manufacturing process, and is specifically utilized for high-power devices such as portable chargers, powerbanks, wall chargers, car chargers, and associated cables. In typical embodiments, the CT System is comprised of measuring instruments and connection relays that work in concert to verify the functionalities of a device under test. The test instruments and relays are controlled by executing specialized software that facilitates communication between the various components through a Universal Serial Bus (USB) medium. Moreover, in many embodiments, the improved system securitizes, processes, and uploads the test data to a central Internet-based server for remote retrieval and post-processing.

  • Patent number: 9945386
Abstract: A system and method for detecting the rotation breakaway of a spacer from a compressor rotor disk are disclosed herein. The method includes detecting a disk sensed feature and a spacer sensed feature on the compressor rotor disk and the spacer respectively. The method also includes comparing the timing between the two to a predetermined threshold to determine whether the relative position of the spacer to the compressor rotor disk exceeds a predetermined amount. Abstract: Compositions that include nanoscale structured materials or precursors thereof (e.g., self-assembling peptides) are described. The compositions can include other substances (e.g., a vasoconstrictor). Also described are methods for using the compositions to promote hemostasis, to protect the skin or wounds from contamination, to decontaminate a site upon removal of previously applied compositions that provided a protective coating, and to inhibit the movement of bodily substances other than blood. The compositions are also useful in isolating tissue, removing tissue, preserving tissue (for, e.g., subsequent transplantation or reattachment), and as bulking, stabilizing or hydrating agents. • Patent number: 7965142
Abstract: A gain control circuit and its gain control method, said gain control method comprising the following steps: firstly, outputting continuously a counter value; next, generating a ramp wave signal based on said counter value, and at a voltage where a control voltage signal intersects said ramp wave signal, obtaining an initial counter value based on said ramp wave signal, thus determining an initial voltage gain of an amplifier circuit; then, when a high or low voltage of an output signal of said amplifier circuit is greater or less than a predetermined detection voltage upper or lower limit, adjusting a DC voltage level of said ramp wave signal with a detection signal; and finally, obtaining at said voltage a counter value less than said initial counter value based on said ramp wave signal, hereby reducing said initial voltage gain based on said counter value.
