    Abstract: An entry system includes a plurality of first user devices, such as key fobs, ID cards and the like. A plurality of second user devices are maintained by users, and may include mobile phones, smart watches and tablets. A main entry system controls a barrier to allow entry to approved individuals. An authorization system is configured to validate the first and second user devices, and to send an electronic questionnaire to the second user device. The user must complete the questionnaire and transmit it to the main entry system. The second user device, the main entry system, and the authorization system communicate with each other over a computer network. If the user successfully completes the questionnaire and the user's identity is authenticated, the main entry system allows the barrier to be opened so that the user may enter the facility.

    Abstract: A random number generator (RNG) resistant to side channel attacks includes an activation pseudo random number generator (APRNG) having an activation output connected to an activation seed input to provide a next seed to the activation seed input. A second random number generator includes a second seed input, which receives the next seed and a random data output, which outputs random data in accordance with the next seed. An input seed memory is connected to the activation seed input and a feedback connection from the activation output so that the next seed is stored in the input seed memory to be used by the APRNG as the activation seed input at a next startup cycle.

    Abstract: A promoted calcium-alumina supported reforming catalyst that is particularly useful for reforming reactions where low H2/CO ratio synthesis gas, such as less than 2.3 is generated directly is disclosed. The catalyst comprises from about 25 wt % to about 98 wt % alumina, from about 0.5 wt % to about 35 wt % calcium oxide, from about 0.01 wt % to about 35 wt % of a promoter, and from about 0.05 wt % to about 30 wt % of an active metal. The promoter is selected from the group consisting of titanium, zirconium, yttrium, niobium, elements of the lanthanum-series, such as, without limitation, lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium, neodymium, promethium, samarium, europium, gadolinium, ytterbium, and combinations thereof. The active metal is selected from the group consisting of nickel, cobalt, rhodium, ruthenium, palladium, platinum, iridium and combinations thereof as active metal, wherein the calcium oxide is combined with the alumina to form aluminum-rich calcium aluminates.
