  • Publication number: 20200055206
Abstract: An electric trimmer generally comprises a handle including a top, a bottom, a front panel, and a back panel, a motor housed within the handle and a blade assembly extending from the top of the handle. The handle is shaped to fit within a cupped palm of a user. At least a portion of the front panel is angled away from the back panel along the extension between the top and the bottom, and at least a portion of the back panel is curved along the extension between the top and the bottom. The blade assembly includes a stationary blade and a reciprocating blade. The stationary blade and the reciprocating blade are curved.

  • Publication number: 20150251325
Abstract: An electric trimmer has a handle, a motor, and a trimmer head extending at least in part longitudinally from the handle. The head has a housing and an elongate blade assembly including at least one reciprocating blade that reciprocates at least in part longitudinally. The housing has an inlet port for receiving cleaning fluid into the housing other than between the blade assembly and housing. The housing defines an internal flow path in flow communication with the inlet port and extending at least in part longitudinally of within the housing for directing cleaning fluid to flow at least in part longitudinally within the housing.

  • Publication number: 20080136172
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed that includes a gasket having an annular shape and characterized by an outer circumference and an inner circumference. The gasket is further characterized by an inner thickness, proximate the inner circumference, tapering to an outer thickness, proximate the outer circumference. The inner thickness of the gasket is substantially greater than the outer thickness. The gasket includes a first contact surface extending between the inner and outer circumferences, and a second contact surface, opposite the first contact surface, extending between the inner and outer circumferences.

  • Publication number: 20080136117
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed that includes a gasket having an annular shape characterized by an outer circumference and an inner circumference. The gasket is characterized by an inner thickness, proximate the inner circumference, tapering to an outer thickness, proximate the outer circumference. The inner thickness of the gasket is substantially greater than the outer thickness. A support member is integrated into the gasket to provide radial support to the gasket. In selected embodiments, one or more indexing features may also be integrated into the gasket to properly align and “clock” cylindrical sections sealed by the gasket.

  • Publication number: 20080069742
Abstract: Gas treatment systems are described that allow for modular development of gas treatment systems, for example exhaust gas aftertreatment systems, using generally standardized parts. A number of subsections are provided, including a treatment subsection containing an exhaust gas treatment device for treating exhaust gas. The treatment subsection is designed to be connectable to an inlet subsection, an outlet subsection, or other subsections in a manner that allows the positions, both longitudinally and rotationally, of the treatment subsection relative to adjacent subsections to be adjusted as required during assembly. This permits an infinite number of length and/or clocking configurations for the aftertreatment system to be manufactured.
