  • Patent number: 11828582
Abstract: Techniques for improving a blast pattern at a mining site include conducting an initial blast and recording the initial blast as a high speed optical video. The high speed optical video, and the blast pattern used in the initial blast are sent as inputs to a machine learning model, which correlates one or more characteristics of the region being blasted with measurements associated with characteristics of the region being blasted obtained from the high speed optical video. The machine learning model can then determine an improved blast pattern based on the correlation made. This improved blast pattern can be displayed on a user computing device, or transmitted to a drilling system to automatically drill the improved blast pattern for subsequent blasts.

  • Publication number: 20230194750
Abstract: This disclosure describes a system and method for generating a subsurface model representing lithological characteristics and attributes of the subsurface of a celestial body or planet. By automatically ingesting data from many sources, a machine learning system can infer information about the characteristics of regions of the subsurface and build a model representing the subsurface rock properties. In some cases, this can provide information about a region using inferred data, where no direct measurements have been taken. Remote sensing data, such as aerial or satellite imagery, gravimetric data, magnetic field data, electromagnetic data, and other information can be readily collected or is already available at scale.

  • Publication number: 20230132211
Abstract: A system includes circuitry for rewriting blockchains in a non-tamper-evident or tamper-evident operation using a key secret held in portions by multiple individually untrusted parties. The blockchains may include a series of blocks secured by integrity codes that may prevent non-tamper-evident rewrites by non-trusted parties that are not in possession of the key secret or individually-untrusted parties in possession of only a portion of the key secret. In some cases, multiple individually-untrusted parties may combine their portions into the key secret. As a group, the multiple individually-untrusted parties may perform non-tamper-evident operation with respect to at least one integrity code within the blockchain.

  • Patent number: 11552950
Abstract: A system supports asset transfers among blockchains of differing distributed ledger technologies using interop circuitry. The interop circuitry may receive asset permissions from origin and target participant circuitry. The asset permissions may support transfer of an asset from an origin blockchain to a target blockchain. The interop circuitry, acting on behalf of the origin and target participant circuitry, locks an asset on the origin blockchain. Then the interop circuitry creates the asset on the target blockchain. The locking of the asset on the origin blockchain may prevent a double-expend opportunity, where the asset can be redeemed on the origin blockchain and on the target blockchain.

  • Patent number: 11329818
Abstract: Systems and methods for active state synchronization between distributed ledger technology (DLT) platforms are provided. A system may store an origin blockchain compliant with an origin DLT. The system may further store a target blockchain compliant with a target DLT. The target DLT may be different from the origin DLT. The system may include a DLT object synchronizer with access to the origin blockchain and the target blockchain. The DLT object synchronizer may receive, from an exchange node, a request to synchronize an origin instance of a DLT object between the origin blockchain and the target blockchain. The DLT object synchronizer may select a target instance of the DLT object on the target blockchain. The DLT object synchronizer may format origin data from the origin instance for compliance with the target DLT. The DLT object synchronizer may synchronize the origin instance and the target instance.

  • Patent number: 11297043
Abstract: A system includes circuitry for cryptographic data share controls for distributed ledger technology based data constructs. The system may support placement of compute data on to a distributed ledger technology based data construct. The compute data may have multiple layers of encryption to support permissions and coordination of processing operations for application to the compute data. The multiple layers of encryption may include a homomorphic layer to allow sharing of the compute data for processing by a compute party without divulging the content of the compute data with the compute party. While in the homomorphically encrypted form, the homomorphic compute data supports the application of processing operations while maintaining the secrecy of the underlying data.

  • Publication number: 20210394114
Abstract: Devices and methods for atmospheric water harvesting may be useful to obtain drinking water from air of moderate humidity, in a process driven directly by solar energy. Devices feature a recirculating stream of a fluid, such as air, and include heat recuperation to heat fluid in one portion of the stream using heat contained in another portion of the stream. Passive heat sinking is sufficient to condense liquid water, without need for refrigeration. The objective of the technologies and inventions is to enable affordable household products that improve drinking water access, with a focus on those currently without access to safely managed drinking water.
