    Abstract: A machine for compressing compression coil springs to length. A crank-operated plunger reciprocates within a chamber receiving springs to be compressed, and from a magazine springs are automatically fed into the compression chamber and released therefrom. Transfer of the springs from the magazine to the chamber and retaining and release of the springs relative to the chamber is controlled by cam operated plates.
