  • Patent number: 11999188
Abstract: A transfer article with a thickness of less than 3 micrometers includes a first acrylate layer that is releasable from a metal or doped semiconductor release layer at a release value of from 2 to 50 grams/inch. The article includes a functional layer overlaying the first acrylate layer. The functional layer includes at least one microfractured inorganic layer about 3 nanometers to about 200 nanometers thick, which has a plurality of toolmarks interspersed with cracks.

  • Patent number: 11988825
Abstract: In one aspect, a light module is disclosed, which includes a housing providing a hollow chamber extending from a proximal end to a distal end, and a lens positioned in the hollow chamber, where the lens has a lens body comprising an input surface for receiving light from a light source and an output surface through which light exits the lens body, said lens further comprising a collar at least partially encircling said lens body. The light module further includes at least one shoulder on which the lens collar can be seated for positioning the lens within the housing. A light source, e.g., an LED, is coupled to the hollow chamber, e.g., at its proximal end, for providing light to the lens. In some embodiments, an optical window is disposed in the hollow chamber and is optically coupled to the output surface of the lens such that the light exiting the lens passes through the optical window before exiting the light module. In some embodiments, the shoulder can be formed as part of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20240115259
Abstract: An apparatus includes a first jaw (16) and a second jaw (618, 718, 900) that cooperate to clamp and staple tissue (90). The second jaw includes a jaw body (620, 720, 902) and a distal tip (619, 719, 906) pivotable relative to the jaw body between a first discrete and a second discrete position. First and second openings (663, 784, 785, 932, 934) are both defined by one of the distal tip or a structure (621, 920) located proximal to the distal tip. A projection (637, 781, 918) is defined by the other of the distal tip or the structure. The projection is positionable within the first opening (663, 785, 932) to releasably retain the distal tip in the first discrete position, and within the second opening (663, 784, 934) to releasably retain the distal tip in the second discrete position.

  • Publication number: 20220417310
Abstract: A content delivery system adapted to provide access to local content is provided. In one embodiment, the system includes a stream director server and an encoder. The stream director server is adapted to receive a request for local content from a client, determine an identifier corresponding to the local content, and provide a redirect to the client based on the identifier. The encoder is adapted to receive a redirected request from the client and provide the local content to the client for presentation. A method of providing access to local content is also provided. The method includes receiving a request for local content from a client at a server; parsing client identifying data and content identifying data from the request; authenticating the request based at least in part on the client identifying data; and providing a redirect to the client for the requested content.

  • Patent number: 5445406
Abstract: A device for securing an inflator to a module housing without the use of fasteners is disclosed. Flanges on the inflator pass through slots in the module housing when the inflator is rotated onto the housing. The module housing is clamped between the flanges and an inflator base plate in one embodiment. In a second embodiment the flanges engage with pockets formed on the module housing adjacent the inflator opening. Also, tabs mounted to the module housing can be engaged with flanges formed on a retention bracket by rotating the bracket into position. The retention bracket secures the inflator onto the module housing.
