    Abstract: Elastomer surfaces and methods for providing elastomer surfaces on a supporting substrate which include a) dissolving an elastomer in an effective solvent, b) adding an adhesive primer to form an elastomer and primer solution, wherein the adhesive primer is preferably a vinyl siloxane, and c) subsequently providing at least one layer of the elastomer and primer solution to the supporting substrate to form a topcoat layer.
