    Abstract: An amusement ride including an elongated boom connected to a vertical tower so as to be selectively rotated and pivoted with respect to the tower. The tower includes a pitch actuator, a yaw actuator, and a roll actuator for pivoting or rotating the boom about three axes or degrees of motion. A rider carriage assembly is rotatably coupled to the elongated boom. The rider carriage assembly may include pitch actuators, yaw actuators, and roll actuators to impart selective rotating motion to the rider and rider carriage assembly and up to three axes or degrees of motion independent of the boom motion.
