  • Publication number: 20140374037
Abstract: A versatile curtain comprising fabric material having a top edge, bottom edge and two sides. The fabric can be folded or seamed to provide a tubular pocket near the top edge. A set of horizontally spaced and vertically extending loops are provided near the top edge, too, overlying the pocket. A curtain tape extends across the curtain, from side to side edge and preferably forms one side of the pocket. The tubular pocket, large loops and the curtain band for curtain hooks provide a variety of supporting options for the consumer, seeking to support the same on a curtain rod. The top edge of the curtain can also be supported by a set of clips and rings.

  • Patent number: 5523238
Abstract: A method for determining a platelet function in a primary hemostasis is provided in which a blood sample or a platelet containing fraction thereof is introduced into a vessel having a flat bottom which has an inner surface covered with a substrate capable of inducing platelet adhesion thereto and aggregation such as ECM (extracellular matrix). Preparation is then rotated inside the vessel, and consequently shear forces develop on the surface which bring to adhesion an aggregation of the blood platelets to the surface. Morphological parameters of blood aggregates are then determined.

  • Patent number: 4535525
Abstract: An adapter for enabling a vertical slotted standard in the form of a steel bar to be mounted to a pair of back-to-back assembled sheet metal channel-shaped studs in a wall, the adapter being disposed within the wall and hidden from the exterior of the wall. The exterior covering of the wall comprises aligned adjacent wallboard members whose vertical adjacent edges engage against a pair of forwardly extending entrance flanges for receiving therein the shelf-supporting hooked end brackets which enter and engage within the slots of the standard. The wallboard members are secured to the studs with the same fasteners that connect a pair of wallboard-receiving wings of the adapter to the studs. The invention is concerned with means for anchoring the standard within the adapter and a method of effecting such anchoring during the assembly of the adapter.
