  • Patent number: 10863606
Abstract: A server device can periodically obtain information concerning illuminance of ambient light from light sensors associated with light sources, and can obtain respective brightness level values associated with respective brightness levels of the light sources. The server device can calculate an illuminance value associated with the illuminance of the ambient light based on the information, determine an adjusted brightness level value for the light sources based on the illuminance value, and determine transition times and transition rates based on the respective brightness level values and the adjusted brightness level value. The server device can cause the respective brightness levels to change according to the adjusted brightness level value, the transition times, and the transition rates, where the transition times and the transition rates are to be used to transition the respective brightness levels of the light sources from the respective brightness level values to the adjusted brightness level value.

  • Patent number: 9848474
Abstract: In one example, a sensor node comprises a core node to enable lighting control for a luminaire. The core node has a base forming a plug portion of a socket. The plug portion has at least one optional pin and represents a NEMA socket including a receptacle that is attached to the base of the core node such that the core node is enclosed by the NEMA socket. The socket provides light level control for a light-emitting diode (LED) driver for the luminaire. The sensor node further comprises one or more peripheral devices having sensors for detecting conditions and producing sensor information based on the detected conditions. The sensor node also includes a pod bus which enables power signals to be transmitted to each of the peripheral devices.

  • Patent number: 9565732
Abstract: A method and a system of lighting nodes having a core node and sensor pods is described. A core node, representing a master device, is positioned within a luminaire housing to enable lighting control for the luminaire. At least one peripheral device representing an integrated sensor pod, an external sensor pod, or a video node. Each of the peripheral devices representing a slave device and includes one or more sensors for detecting conditions. A pod bus, representing a master-slave bus, enables power signals to be transmitted to each of the peripheral devices. The pod bus also enables the core node to query each of the peripheral devices and each of the peripheral devices to respond to a query from the core node.

  • Patent number: 9107086
Abstract: An integration panel comprises a control module, a plurality of radio frequency (RF) modules, and a backplane configured to couple the plurality of RF modules to the control module. Each of the plurality of RF modules is configured to be coupled to a respective network device and to a host unit of a distributed antenna system. Each RF module is further configured to condition the RF signals received from the respective network device and to provide the conditioned RF signals to the host unit. Each of the RF modules is configured to sample the conditioned RF signals and to provide the sampled RF signals to the control module via the backplane. The control module is configured to perform signal analysis of the sampled RF signals and to provide the results of the signal analysis to a user device located remotely from the integration panel.

  • Patent number: 8385373
Abstract: A method of determining a boundary of a subframe in a time division duplexing (TDD) system is provided. The method detects a power level of a signal on at least one radio frequency, the signal comprising at least one subframe. A time-domain correlation is done on the detected signal with a first reference signal, wherein the first reference signal represents at least one subframe. The location in time of a boundary of the at least one subframe of the detected signal is determined based on the correlation of the detected signal and the first reference signal.
