  • Publication number: 20240230159
Abstract: A hot water pressure washer for delivering a high pressure stream of heated water. The hot water pressure washer includes an engine, a source of gas, a water heater, and a high pressure water pump. In one embodiment, the gas is one of liquefied natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, gasoline, or propane. The water heater includes a gas input adapted to be coupled to an outlet of the source of gas and a water input adapted to be coupled to a source of water. The water heater includes a water heater inlet, adapted to receive gas from the source of gas, and a water heater outlet, adapted to provide a heated water to a spray wand. A high pressure water pump receives water from the water heater outlet and the water pump outlet provides the pressurized heated water to a spray wand.

  • Publication number: 20140013540
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a cleaning apparatus, such as a battery-powered vacuum cleaner, that has a body and a cleaning wand. The apparatus operates in a multiple power mode, uses a wireless system to allow an operator interface to be provided on the cleaning wand and/or uses a motion detector on the cleaning wand to operate the cleaning apparatus in an intelligent manner. In cases where the cleaning apparatus is a battery-powered apparatus, the use of a multiple power mode, wireless system and/or a motion detector helps to extend the life of a battery.

  • Publication number: 20080148748
Abstract: A temperature control system for a vehicle that defines a load space for supporting cargo. The temperature control system includes a refrigeration unit that has a refrigeration circuit, and a heating system that has a heating circuit. The refrigeration circuit includes a prime mover and a cooling coil that selectively cools an airflow entering the load space. The heating circuit includes a pump that circulates a coolant fluid through the heating circuit, a dedicated heater that heats the coolant fluid, and a heating coil that selectively heats the airflow entering the load space. The temperature control system also includes a controller that detects conditions of the load space, and that engages one of the refrigeration unit and the heating system to condition the load space in response to the detected conditions.
