  • Patent number: 8592171
Abstract: Embodiments described herein include methods and assays for detecting an analyte in a sample using a plurality of control zone capture agents. Some embodiments include detection of multiple analytes in a sample utilizing a plurality of analyte binders and a control zone containing multiple control zone capture agents. In some embodiments, the multiple control zone capture agents capture a plurality of binders within one control zone. Test results are determined by comparison of the control zone signal to a test zone signal.

  • Patent number: 8355027
Abstract: A dual transceiver architecture provides source and sink device capabilities for communicating visual information between information handling systems and displays. A detector determines whether a cable connected to a port provides visual information or receives digital information. If visual information is received at a port, the visual information is provided to an adjacent port through a dual transceiver architecture so that the visual information is available to forward to another display, information handling system or other device. A common connector configuration simplifies the connection of multiple displays or devices, such as in a daisy chain configuration.

  • Publication number: 20120198687
Abstract: LCD panel inventory for manufacture of portable information handling systems is managed to support consumer and business information handling systems by adapting LCD panels having a substantially identical construction as the LCD panels are pulled from a common inventory. LCD panels placed in the inventory have a polarizing surface suitable for use with consumer information handling systems and are treated with an anti-glare film when pulled from the inventory for assembly into business information handling systems.

  • Patent number: 8237721
Abstract: A method of providing information for display includes receiving primary, secondary, and tertiary information for display at an information handling system. The tertiary information is communicated to a display interface after the primary and secondary information during a time period otherwise assigned to the communication of dummy information. This allows more information to be communicated via a communication channel.

  • Publication number: 20120100638
Abstract: A method, test strip and method of manufacturing a test strip useful for detecting one or more analytes, such as an antibiotic, in a test sample such as a milk sample. The test strip and method include a labeled specific binder and test capture agent for the specific binder that increases test sensitivity to the analyte for which the specific binder has affinity while decreasing test sensitivity to an analyte for which a multianalyte binder has affinity.

  • Patent number: 8152452
Abstract: A conditioning unit can allow the blower to be easily translated from a first operable position in the conditioning unit to a second operable position external to the conditioning unit. The translation of the blower does not require the disconnection of the blower and, accordingly, does not require that the blower be disconnected and reconnected to the control system. Such capability can facilitate the installation of the conditioning unit into a variety of applications and allows the purchaser to customize the blower location based on the desired performance. The ability to customize the installation of the conditioning unit without requiring disconnection and reconnection of the blower can reduce the cost and expense associated with the installation into differing applications.

  • Patent number: 7937501
Abstract: An improved method and apparatus is disclosed for communicating control information between components of an audio/video system. Processing and control logic is implemented to transfer a plurality of data streams on predetermined channels of a digital video interface. A first data stream contains video data received by a video interface receiver, where it is used to generate an image on a digital display. A second data stream contains control data, which is similarly received by the video interface receiver, and is used to control source devices coupled to the digital display.
