    Abstract: A method and apparatus authenticates a user with an image password. In one implementation, a method is provided. According to the method, a plurality of icons are displayed. The plurality of icons are arranged in a pattern. The method receives a sequence of selected inputs. Each of the inputs corresponds to one of the plurality of icons. The method further repositions the plurality of icons after each input and determines whether the user is authenticated based on the received sequence.
