  • Patent number: 7676986
Abstract: A device for manually capturing and restraining intended insects, the same comprising a pad of stacked, singular sheets each sheet having a partial enveloping means comprised of hydrophillic absorbing material and collapsible sheet construction whereby the sheet partially conforms in response to the insects body mass. Each sheet has a region is coated with a mild compression adhesive material capable of trapping of an insect in response to the physical manipulation by a human being. The pad of stacked adhesive sheets can be used by separating each sheet individually or as a stack. Upon apprehension of an insect, the sheet restraining the insect is separated, if not already separated from its stack, folded to encase the insect and ready for disposal. The pad of stacked adhesive sheets can have various sheet sizes, thickness and density with varying enveloping ability—all depending upon intended insect to be trapped.

  • Patent number: 6131727
Abstract: The conveyor belt monitor is composed of a pair of rollers resiliently mounted on a frame vertically aligned above and below the conveyor belt and which extend horizontally across the width of the belt, positioned on the return loop of the belt. The rollers are movable vertically in a direction perpendicular to the direction of belt movement. The roller shafts are connected to limit switches so that an upward movement of the top roller or a downward movement of the bottom roller shuts down the conveyer and, optionally, signals an alarm to the operator of the belt. The sensitivity of the monitor, or clearance between the belt and the rollers, is adjustable by the operator.

  • Patent number: 6123204
Abstract: A dishwasher-rack container holder is disclosed that securely holds containers in place during washing so that pressure from spraying streams of water will not upset containers placed therein. This ensures that a container held in the container holder will be properly cleaned and will not be dislodged from the rack, thereby eliminating the danger that a dislodged container will interfere with drainage, become damaged by heating coils, or burn out the dishwasher motor. In one preferred embodiment, a container is inserted into the holder by pushing the container into the top of the holder, while in another preferred embodiment, a container is inserted through the side of the holder. The container holder can be shaped to secure onto any rail (top, bottom, or side) of a dishwasher rack and can accommodate a variety of container sizes. The container holder can be further shaped to be removably and rotatably secured to a dishwasher rack rail so that the holder can be removed or rotated when not in use.
