  • Publication number: 20240137748
Abstract: A wireless communication network receives a first Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) profile from a User Equipment (UE) and authenticates the UE based on the first SIM profile. The network receives a first slice request from the UE and authorizes a first wireless network slice for the UE based on the authentication of the first SIM profile and the first slice request. The network receives a second SIM profile from the UE and authenticates the UE based on the second SIM profile. The network receives a second slice request from the UE and authorizes a second wireless network slice for the UE based on the authentication of the second SIM profile and the second slice request. The network wirelessly exchanges first slice data with the UE over the first wireless network slice, and simultaneously, exchanges second slice data with the UE over the second wireless network slice.

  • Patent number: 11966228
Abstract: In various examples, a current claimed set of points representative of a volume in an environment occupied by a vehicle at a time may be determined. A vehicle-occupied trajectory and at least one object-occupied trajectory may be generated at the time. An intersection between the vehicle-occupied trajectory and an object-occupied trajectory may be determined based at least in part on comparing the vehicle-occupied trajectory to the object-occupied trajectory. Based on the intersection, the vehicle may then execute the first safety procedure or an alternative procedure that, when implemented by the vehicle when the object implements the second safety procedure, is determined to have a lesser likelihood of incurring a collision between the vehicle and the object than the first safety procedure.

  • Patent number: 11968471
Abstract: Embodiments relate to extracting features from images, such as by identifying keypoints and generating keypoint descriptors of the keypoints. An apparatus includes a pyramid image generator circuit, a keypoint descriptor generator circuit, and a pyramid image buffer. The pyramid image generator circuit generates an image pyramid from an input image. The keypoint descriptor generator circuit processes the pyramid images for keypoint descriptor generation. The pyramid image buffer stores different portions of the pyramid images generated by the pyramid image generator circuit at different times and provides the stored portions of the pyramid images to the keypoint descriptor generator circuit for keypoint descriptor generation. When first portions of the pyramid images are no longer needed for the keypoint descriptor generation, the first portions are removed from the pyramid image buffer to provide space for second portions of the pyramid images that are needed for the keypoint descriptor generation.

  • Patent number: 11967067
Abstract: A candidate generator generates a set of candidate three-dimensional image patches from an input volume. A candidate classifier classifies the set of candidate three-dimensional image patches as containing or not containing disease. Classifying the set of candidate three-dimensional image patches comprises generating an attention mask for each given candidate three-dimensional image patch within the set of candidate three-dimensional image patches to form a set of attention masks, applying the set of attention masks to the set of candidate three-dimensional image patches to form a set of masked image patches, and classifying the set of masked image patches as containing or not containing the disease. The candidate classifier applies soft attention and hard attention to the three-dimensional image patches such that distinctive image regions are highlighted proportionally to their contribution to classification while completely removing image regions that may cause confusion.

  • Patent number: 11957853
Abstract: Various embodiments disclosed relate to drug-coated balloon catheters for treating, preventing, or reducing the recurrence of a stricture and/or cancer, or for treating benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), in a non-vascular body lumen and methods of using the same. A drug-coated balloon catheter for delivering a therapeutic agent to a target site of a body lumen stricture includes an elongated balloon having a main diameter. The balloon catheter includes a coating layer overlying an exterior surface of the balloon. The coating layer includes one or more water-soluble additives and an initial drug load of a therapeutic agent. In some embodiments, the balloon catheter includes a length-control mechanism which stretches and elongates the balloon when it is in a deflated state, giving the balloon a smaller cross-sectional deflated profile for tracking through the body lumen and for removal after treatment.

  • Publication number: 20240116538
Abstract: In various examples, sensor data may be collected using one or more sensors of an ego-vehicle to generate a representation of an environment surrounding the ego-vehicle. The representation may include lanes of the roadway and object locations within the lanes. The representation of the environment may be provided as input to a longitudinal speed profile identifier, which may project a plurality of longitudinal speed profile candidates onto a target lane. Each of the plurality of longitudinal speed profiles candidates may be evaluated one or more times based on one or more sets of criteria. Using scores from the evaluation, a target gap and a particular longitudinal speed profile from the longitudinal speed profile candidates may be selected. Once the longitudinal speed profile for a target gap has been determined, the system may execute a lane change maneuver according to the longitudinal speed profile.

  • Patent number: 11956133
Abstract: Described are techniques for accelerating streaming analytics jobs, which may be used for generating dashboards. The disclosed techniques can reduce overhead, such as in the form of processor usage, network usage, or the like, due to duplicative or overlapping requests for streaming analytics data by implementing a caching process in which analytics data is evaluated to determine if it is likely to be requested multiple times or by multiple users, caching the analytics data, and serving future requests for the same analytics data from the cache instead of requiring separate analytics jobs for each request.
