  • Patent number: 12633767
Abstract: The present document describes techniques for extending battery life after long-term and high-temperature storage. These techniques delay charging of a battery to detect battery conditions and determine whether the battery was exposed to high temperatures while in an idle or low-power state for a long period of time. These techniques include a methodology to relax and refresh an anode surface of the battery, after high-temperature storage, through distinct and tailored discharges prior to beginning a normal charge profile. These techniques can be applied to a wide range of chemistry platforms, which may have kinetic (Li-ion) limitations, to extend the longevity of the battery by reducing lithium plating and capacity degradation caused by long-term, high-temperature storage.

  • Patent number: 12592427
Abstract: This application is directed to a battery having a heating element. A connector of the battery includes a first terminal, a second terminal, and a heater terminal. One or more rechargeable battery cells are electrically coupled to the first and second terminals of the connector. The heating element is in contact with a subset of the battery cells, and includes a resistive heater path that is electrically coupled to the first and heater terminals of the connector and generates heat to warm the battery when a heater voltage is applied to the heater terminal. A waterproof material is wrapped around an exterior of the heating element and battery cells and prevents ambient water from contacting the heater element and battery cells. The waterproof material includes an opening to allow at least the first and second terminals of the connector to be electrically coupled to a logic board.

  • Publication number: 20260016589
Abstract: This disclosure enables various technologies for tracking various objects (e.g., mammals, animals, humans, pets) within various defined areas (e.g., rooms, apartments, residences, vehicles, tents) to determine whether those objects satisfy or do not satisfy various criteria, signatures, or thresholds, which may relate to health, safety, or security of those objects within those defined areas. These technologies may be enabled via various radars (e.g., time-of-flight radars, Doppler radars) positioned within those defined areas to track those objects therein. For example, some of such radars may operate in a Ku-band inclusively between about 12 GHz and about 18 GHz, a K-band inclusively between about 18 GHz and about 27 GHz, or a Ka-band inclusively between about 26.5 GHz and about 40 GHz, each of which has been unexpectedly found to be technologically beneficial for tracking those objects within those defined areas.

  • Patent number: 12475303
Abstract: Secure communication in mobile digital pages is provided. The system receives an electronic document and validates the electronic document for storage in a cache server. The system receives a request for the electronic document and provides it to a viewer component on a client computing device. The viewer component loads the electronic document in an iframe. The viewer component executes a runtime component to receive, via a secure communication channel, a tag from the electronic document. The system receives the tag and selects a data value for transmission to the viewer component. The viewer components provides the data value to cause the runtime component to execute an action with the data value.

  • Publication number: 20250241758
Abstract: Methods for making surgical implants (or grafts) comprising tissue-derived pieces derived from cartilage, dermis, placenta, and combinations thereof, and which are shaped using a container or mold, or by compressing the tissue-derived pieces, into a first shape, including but not limited to a cylinder, a plug, or a sheet, and possibly also a secondary shape such as when the first shape is a sheet. Prior to shaping the tissue-derived pieces have one or more physical forms selected from fibers, flakes, particles, and powder. The implants are at least partially crosslinked by exposure to UV radiation, whereby the implants retain the first shape, as well as the secondary shape when present, when rehydrated, when compressed or subjected to cyclical loading. The implants stay in one piece and do not disperse when subjected to a load, during and after rehydration, during irrigation, or when placed in an aqueous environment.

  • Publication number: 20250118964
Abstract: A battery charger compatible with AC/DC power sources is provided. The battery charger comprises a power output port connected to a battery, a rectifier electrically connected between an AC connecting port and the power output port, and a power conversion unit electrically connected between a DC connecting port and the power output port. When the AC connecting port receives an AC power, the rectifier rectifies the AC power into a DC power and outputs the DC power to the power output port. When the DC connecting port receives an DC input power and the AC power is not received by the AC connecting port, the power conversion unit transforms the DC input power into the DC power and outputs the DC power to the power output port. The battery charger is a 2-in-1 charger that can charge the battery using either the DC power or the AC power.

  • Patent number: 12242504
Abstract: A method for backfilling records dropped by a distributed node system during a transfer to an external database includes initially determining whether an attempt to transfer a data record failed or succeeded. In response to determining that the transfer succeeded, the data record is appended at its original location include a first transfer status identifier. In response to determining that the transfer failed, the data record is appended to include a second transfer status identifier and queued copy of the data record is created by copying the data record to a delayed re-try queue. The method further includes verifying that the transfer status identifier of the queued copy is identical to the transfer status identifier of a newest version of the data record within the distributed node system and, responsive to the verification, attempting a subsequent transfer of the queued copy of the data record to the external database.
