  • Publication number: 20250065209
Abstract: The golf aid disclosed herein includes a shell of rigid construction that engages the portion of the arm including distal posterior portions of a forearm, posterior portions of a wrist, and a back of a hand proximal to knuckles while leaving a palm and a thumb exposed. The shell is configured to control a wrist throughout a golf stroke by maintaining the wrist in a neutral position to prevent flexion and extension of the wrist during a golf stoke. Related methods of use of the golf aid may include wrapping a material about a portion of an arm and allowing the material wrapped about the portion of the arm to transform into the rigid state while gripping a golf club and maintaining the distal portions of the forearm, the wrist, the hand, and the golf club in alignment. The methods may include the step of maintaining the wrist in a neutral position thereby preventing flexion and extension of the wrist by engaging the shell with the arm while performing a golf stroke.

  • Publication number: 20250067373
Abstract: The present invention is directed to methods for constructing a flange on a pipe using an additive manufacturing process, such as directed energy deposition, powder bed fusion, friction-stir, or diode laser cladding. The flange can be constructed on a pipe comprising an oxide dispersion strengthen or nickel-based alloys, in particular a precipitation strengthened nickel-based alloy, such that the pipe maintains its inherent mechanical and metallurgical properties, including hardness, tensile strength, yield strength, fracture toughness, creep strength, fatigue, which would otherwise be reduced based upon typical welding of a flange to the end of the pipe. The flange can be constructed around the exterior of a pipe at the end of the pipe to allow use of the flange in connecting the pipe via bolting to other piping components, such as another pipe with a corresponding flange, a valve flange, a pump flange, or any other type of flange.

  • Publication number: 20250057611
Abstract: Surgical systems and methods involving a reamer tool and a surgical robotic arm. The reamer tool has a shaft, a tool engagement surface coupled to the shaft, and a reamer head attached to the shaft. The surgical robotic arm supports a guide that can receive the reamer tool. The guide has a pair of arms, each arm extending to an arm end and the arm ends being spaced apart from one another to provide an opening between the arm ends. A channel is formed between the arms. The guide enables a portion of the shaft to move through the opening between the arm ends such that the shaft portion can enter and exit the channel. The arms define a guide engagement surface that is arc-shaped and that enables contact with the tool engagement surface to facilitate alignment of the reamer tool and the guide.

  • Publication number: 20250042552
Abstract: A seat release system and device, the system including an interface assembly that provides actuation signaling, an actuation device that communicatively provides mechanical motion in response to the actuation signaling, a cable connected to the actuation device, and a recline release cylinder having a gas release button and a release lever at a first end, and having a cylinder piston arm in the recline release cylinder at a second end. The release lever is attached to a second end of the cable where the cable moves the release lever in response to the mechanical motion of the actuation device. The gas release button vents the recline release cylinder to atmosphere in response to being depressed as a result of the cable moving the release lever. The cylinder piston arm may move in the recline release cylinder in response to the gas release button being depressed.
