  • Patent number: 10593153
Abstract: A plurality of virtual instant tickets are loaded onto a memory of a microprocessor that is physically provided to the consumer. The consumer is physically given a small object, such as a bank card or hotel room key card that has the microprocessor embedded therein. The memory of the microprocessor includes a validation number of each virtual instant ticket, and the winning or losing outcome of each virtual instant ticket and the value of any winning outcome. A purchase is made to unlock a portion of the virtual instant tickets, thereby allowing that portion of tickets to be played. The consumer uses a computing device that interacts with the microprocessor to play the tickets and informs the consumer of the outcome. Additional virtual instant tickets may be unlocked with subsequent purchases. The memory of the microprocessor is updated to indicate the one or more virtual instant tickets that were successfully played.

  • Patent number: 10529187
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to electronically dispense a plurality of Electronic Instant Tickets (EITs) from a gaming microprocessor that is electronically programmed by a game service provider with a set of predetermined EITs. An Instant Ticket Vending Machine (ITVM) communicates with the gaming microprocessor to receive the EITs and display the results dictated by the EITs. The EITs allow the ITVM to operate independently of network communications with the game service provider and without providing predetermined outcomes embodied in a paper medium. Paper embodiments of the EITs associated with the gaming session and which are displayed on the display during the gaming session are printed. The dispensed printed paper embodiments of the EITs did not exist prior to the gaming session and are only printed upon game play of an EIT.

  • Patent number: 10366564
Abstract: A system allows consumers to participate in draw games through the use of a personal, portable, secure, device (portable microprocessor) that accepts and stores wagers selected by a consumer, generates wagers on behalf of the consumer, and maintains secure virtual tickets for the consumer that can be authenticated and accepted by a gaming authority. The portable microprocessor interacts with either a user's mobile device or with a game terminal, which, in turn, communicates with a game server.

  • Patent number: 10360577
Abstract: Coupons are electronically delivered by a coupon generating subsystem to a plurality of mobile devices via gaming sessions experienced on the mobile devices. A memory of the coupon generating subsystem stores a set of rules associated with delivery of the coupons from the coupon generating subsystem to the mobile devices, wherein the set of rules include a payout table that determines the value of coupons that are delivered. A gaming session is initiated on one of the mobile devices when the mobile device is within a broadcast range of the coupon generating subsystem. The gaming session uses a random number generator and a central processing unit of the coupon generating subsystem to generate a result for the game of chance using the payout table in the memory. The result determines the value of a coupon to be electronically delivered via the coupon generating subsystem to the mobile device.
