  • Patent number: 12064562
Abstract: The systems, devices, and methods described herein relate to providing breathing gas to a patient using a base unit and an auxiliary unit configured to be removably disposed on or at least partially in the base unit. The base unit has several couplings for improved control and sensing of the auxiliary unit and its components, wherein the couplings are configured to be non-contact with the corresponding components of the auxiliary unit and/or otherwise configured to minimize operational defects or improve efficiency. Non-contact couplings include induction heating, capacitive level sensing, a magnetically coupled rotor pump, RFID tag and reader, and Hall effect sensing. The breathing gas can be provided at high velocities by setting breathing gas flowrates based on dimensions of a nasal cannula used to direct the breathing gas into a patient's nares.

  • Publication number: 20200379041
Abstract: Systems and methods of developing an integrated circuit implement selecting a desired yield for a circuit used in the integrated circuit. The desired yield corresponds to a desired failure probability of the circuit. The method includes determining a parameter threshold value that corresponds with the desired yield. The circuit passes if a parameter associated with the circuit is below the parameter threshold value and the desired yield indicates a percentage of instances of the circuit that pass according to the parameter threshold value. The method also includes using the parameter threshold value that corresponds with the desired yield during testing and improvement of a design of the integrated circuit, and providing the design of the integrated circuit for fabrication.

  • Publication number: 20140024931
Abstract: In part, the invention relates to systems, methods, and devices that store and retrieve information associated with an imaging probe such as an ultrasound probe, an optical coherence tomography probe, a multimodal probe and other probes. The information that is stored relates to one or more measurable properties for a specific imaging probe. Thus, when each probe is manufactured there can be variations in its length, brightness, angular alignment of its constituent elements, and various other probe specific measurements. In turn, these measurements can be used to calibrate or otherwise use a given probe with a system that collects, stores, or otherwise processes information collected using each probe.
