  • Publication number: 20250109519
Abstract: Described herein are ECAM systems and methods of operating such systems or, more specifically, methods of determining the spacing between build plates and printheads before deposits contact the printheads. A method may comprise positioning a build plate and a printhead (e.g., comprising a copper deposit) at a set orientation relative to each other and for some time (e.g., to allow changes in the electrolyte between the build plate and the printhead and/or changes to the printhead's electrode surface). Thereafter, a measuring voltage is applied between each pixelated electrode of the printhead and a measuring reference plate (which may be the build plate or another plate) while obtaining one or more current values. These current values are then compared to the calibration data set to determine the distances between this electrode and the build plate or, more specifically, the deposit on the build plate.

  • Publication number: 20250103792
Abstract: Unique copies of an original document are generated by replacing spatial elements between bigrams with space characters of a uniform character code. An artifact is a derivation of a unique copy. To determine the unique copy from which the artifact was derived, bigrams of the artifact are determined. Spatial elements separating written units of the bigrams are determined to correspond with uniform character code characters, and their respective character identifiers are identified and associated with the bigrams. In some aspects, the spatial elements of the artifact are assigned binary spacing indicators that indicate their relative widths. In either or both events, a correlation can be determined between the character identifiers or the binary spacing indicators of the artifact and the character identifiers of the unique copies for respective bigrams. The unique copy having the strongest correlation is identified as being the unique copy from which the artifact was derived.

  • Publication number: 20250104460
Abstract: A document source is determined with high accuracy. Unique copies of an original document can be created. To determine which of the unique copies matches an artifact, keypoints of the unique copies and the artifact are identified. The unique copy keypoints are matched to the artifact keypoints. The unique copies are ranked based on the number of matching keypoints. An absolute match significance is determined from an absolute match fraction, comprising the number of matching unique copy keypoints for each unique copy relative to the total unique copy keypoints. A unique match significance is determined from a unique match fraction, comprising the number of uniquely matching keypoints for each unique copy relative to the total unique copy keypoints. The identification of the unique copy as matching the artifact is determined based on the absolute match significance and the unique match significance.

  • Patent number: 12257187
Abstract: A device is described herein for performing capsulotomies that improves suction uniformity and produces rolled capsulotomy edges. The device includes a suction cup that forms a tapered circumferential suction chamber which enables suction to be applied to a tissue in a first direction. The tapered circumferential suction chamber decreases in cross-sectional area from a proximal end of the device towards a distal end of the device. The device further includes a stem coupled to the suction cup to provide suction to the suction cup. The stem forms a neck that enables fluid flow to the suction cup in a direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction. The device further includes a cutting element configured to excise the tissue.

  • Publication number: 20240361804
Abstract: A computer docking station devised to operate in different manufacturer-configured modes is disclosed. In Split Dock Mode, the computer docking station utilizes a lower dock subassembly (LDS) positioned beneath the work surface for connection to cables infrequently disconnected during normal operation and an upper dock subassembly (UDS) comprising one or more data ports positioned on top of the work surface. In Hub Mode, the UDS functions alone to provide a data hub. In Charging Mode, the UDS functions alone to provide charging ports only, with no data-transfer capability. In Dock Mode, the LDS functions alone to provide a docking station. This design allows manufacturers to sell different configurations without having to keep a stock of multiple different pieces of hardware-only a small change to a single resistor in the UDS's PCBA is necessary to change the UDS from Hub/Split Dock Mode to Charging Mode.

  • Publication number: 20240338517
Abstract: Unique copies of an original document can be generated and provided to individual recipients. The unique copies can be used to identify the source of a document leak. The unique copies are generated by replacing terms within the original document with alternative terms. The alternative terms are determined using a first machine learning model that receives a term from the document and outputs the alternative terms. The output alternative terms are provided to a second machine learning model that indicates a tone for each alternative term. The tone of the alternative terms is compared to the tone of the term from the original document, and one or more of the alternative terms are selected based on the tone of the alternative terms relative to the tone of the document term. The alternative terms used to generate the unique copies have a same or similar tone as the document term.

  • Publication number: 20240304018
Abstract: Document source detection uses unique copies to identify sources of leaked documents. The unique copies are generated from an original document and include a unique watermarking of one or more perturbations to a feature of the original document. An artifact, such as a photo or copy, is derived from one of the unique copies, the unique copy from which it was derived is identified. To identify the unique copy, unique copy keypoints in the unique copies are matched to artifact keypoints in the artifact to align the artifact with a location within the unique documents. Pixel regions in the unique copies that include perturbations are used to identify corresponding pixel regions in the artifact. Pixels in these regions are compared to identify the unique copy from which the artifact was derived, thus identifying a possible source of the leaked document.

  • Publication number: 20240255535
Abstract: Decapping system and methods of performing a decapping process for screw cap test tubes. In an embodiment, a method comprises loading a test tube rack in a rack holder that holds the test tube rack stationary, where the test tube rack holds the screw cap test tubes aligned in a row. The method further comprises clamping the row of the screw cap test tubes between a pair of jaw members of a row clamp, where clamp surfaces of the jaw members apply a force to opposing sides of the row of the screw cap test tubes. The method further comprises successively contacting screw caps of the screw cap test tubes in the row with a rotating bit of a decapper tool to spin the screw caps in a loosening direction.

  • Patent number: 12043243
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an electric vehicle and more particularly, to a system for reducing charging time of the electric vehicle when an occupant decides to wait in their vehicle while their vehicle is charging. In one illustrative embodiment, a vehicle system within the electric vehicle may determine whether the electric vehicle is charging. The vehicle system may then determine whether an occupant is within the electric vehicle. This may be performed through a number of systems such as an in-vehicle camera or seat sensor. At least one function may be reduced or removed when an occupant has been detected thus making their stay uncomfortable. Sound, for example, may be reduced while the occupant is detected in the vehicle and the vehicle is charging. Similarly, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning functions may be removed.

  • Publication number: 20240219951
Abstract: The disclosure describes an adaptive and optimal imaging of individual quantum emitters within a lattice or optical field of view for quantum computing. Advanced image processing techniques are described to identify individual optically active quantum bits (qubits) with an imager. Images of individual and optically-resolved quantum emitters fluorescing as a lattice are decomposed and recognized based on fluorescence. Expected spatial distributions of the quantum emitters guides the processing, which uses adaptive fitting of peak distribution functions to determine the number of quantum emitters in real time. These techniques can be used for the loading process, where atoms or ions enter the trap one-by-one, for the identification of solid-state emitters, and for internal state-detection of the quantum emitters, where each emitter can be fluorescent or dark depending on its internal state.
