  • Patent number: 11967477
Abstract: A programmable pushbutton breaker switch having a pushbutton, a plurality of amperage indicating light emitting diodes (LEDs), a plurality of breaker circuits, and a plurality of LED light pipes in an interior of the pushbutton. Each of the LEDs is associated with a specific breaker circuit and with a specific light pipe. Light from a specific LED passes through a specific LED light pipe and produces an indicator light on the top of the pushbutton. The indicator light identifies an amperage amount, shown on the top of the pushbutton, of a specific breaker circuit. A programming switch inside the programmable pushbutton breaker switch allows the operation of the pushbutton to select a desired breaker amperage amount from a plurality of breaker amperage amounts shown on the top of the pushbutton and to set and store the desired amperage amounts in the programmable pushbutton breaker switch.

  • Patent number: 11830682
Abstract: A display cover apparatus having a display cover for a push button on a push button switch, a holder for the display cover, and a housing. The display cover has lock hooks and the holder has a hollow interior, a top end with lock slots that removably connect to the lock hooks, a bottom end, a flexible retaining washer in a groove at the bottom end, and a locking key between the top end and the bottom end. The holder is positioned on a circular shelf in an interior of the housing. The circular shelf has an internal circular flange with a locking slot that receives the locking key to prevent rotation of the holder in the housing. The flexible retaining washer is positioned beneath the flange. The circular shelf and the flexible retaining washer prevent linear movement of the holder in the housing. An alignment hook on the display cover removably connects to an alignment slot on the holder, thereby preventing the display cover from rotating on the holder.

  • Patent number: 11594864
Abstract: An enclosure adapter for a circuit breaker that converts a panel mounted circuit breaker to a flat surface mounted circuit breaker. The enclosure adapter has a housing with a top end, an open bottom end, and sides defining an interior. The open bottom end allows for insertion of a circuit breaker into the interior. The top end has an opening to provide access to controls on the circuit breaker and has openings for attaching the circuit breaker to an interior side of the top end. Mounting members are formed at the bottom end of the enclosure adapter to mount the enclosure adapter to a flat surface. The sides form corners which are indentations into the interior of the enclosure adapter and the mounting members are formed in the indentations, wherein the indentations facilitate mounting the enclosure adapter to a flat surface. Removable tabs create openings for electrical connections.

  • Patent number: 11476064
Abstract: A rotor system for a multi-pole rotary electrical switch having a rotor with a top and a bottom. Bus plate connectors are held in chambers on the bottom of the rotor. Retainers in the chambers, engaging only sides of the bus plate connectors, prevent the bus plate connectors from dropping out of the chambers when the bus plate connectors are placed above bus plates in a bus plate holder to place the switch in an “OFF” position. Support members extend from a side of the rotor to support the bus plate connectors above the bus plates. When the rotor is rotated to the “OFF” position the support members are rotated up onto support posts positioned in the bus plate holder. When the rotor is rotated to an “ON” position the support members are rotated off the support posts and the bus plate connectors are pressed down against the bus plates by a spring, thereby creating electrical connections between the bus plate connectors and the bus plates.

  • Patent number: 10777370
Abstract: An illuminated pushbutton for a pushbutton switch having a light transmitting pushbutton and an indicia cover that is attached to a front end of the light transmitting pushbutton. The indicia cover has non-light transmitting regions and light transmitting regions on its front surface, wherein the light transmitting regions provide visible, light-transmitted indicia on the light transmitting pushbutton. The indicia cover has an adhesive on its rear surface to attach the indicia cover to the front end of the light transmitting pushbutton. An LED in the pushbutton switch is constructed to transmit light to the indicia cover. The light passes through the light transmitting regions (symbols and letters) but not through the non-light transmitting regions. As the light passes through the light transmitting symbols and letters, the symbols and letters are lighted and visible in the dark.

  • Patent number: 10757794
Abstract: A user programmable pushbutton switch system having a central processing unit (CPU), an IR transceiver, lights, and a current sensor. The switch is programmed with a remote controller having a CPU, an IR transceiver, programming buttons, a sending button, and a display. The programming buttons provide signals to the CPU in the remote controller for selection of specific program options which are sent to the CPU in the pushbutton switch when the ENTER button is pressed. The specific program options are then executed in the pushbutton switch. The program options include Function, Current, Dimmer, Turn timer off, and Turn timer on options. The Function options include ON/OFF through one electrical output channel, a momentary ON function through one channel, Nav/Anc through two channels, OFF-ON-ON with two channels, and a dimmer function with two channels.

  • Patent number: 10665409
Abstract: A waterproof cover for a resettable in-line fuse having a cover with a top end and a bottom end; a seal mount on the top end; and a flexible seal for the seal mount. The seal mount has a hollow interior and an annular flange. The flexible seal has a top portion, a middle portion, and bottom portion. A translucent flexible dome is positioned on the top portion and an internal annular groove is positioned in the middle portion to engage the annular flange. A seal is positioned in the bottom end of the cover and positioned around a female section of the resettable in-line fuse. A seal is also positioned in a bottom end of the female section of the resettable in-line fuse to produce a waterproof fuse. A reset button is visible in the translucent flexible dome when the resettable in-line fuse is tripped. The fuse can be reset by pushing the flexible dome against the reset button.

  • Patent number: 10476200
Abstract: A screw-on female connector for a multi-pin switch having a housing with a retaining flange around the front end of the housing. A screw-on nut is mounted rotatably on the front end of the housing and the retaining flange retains the screw-on nut at the front end of the housing while allowing it to be screwed onto the mounting threads of a male switch. The screw-on female connector has a front seal positioned in an interior of the housing near the front end of the housing. The front seal is constructed to form a water tight connection between the screw-on female connector and a male connector when the screw-on nut is tightened onto the male connector. The screw-on nut also prevents the two connectors from being pulled apart. A rear seal at a rear end of the housing, in combination with the front seal, completely seals the screw-on female connector.

  • Patent number: 9660357
Abstract: An electrical connector with an internal crimping mechanism. The electrical connector has a connector shell with one or more electrical connecting pins contained therein. One or more crimping screws are threaded through a hole in a wall of the connector shell. One or more crimping springs, with a first side and a second opposite side, are within the connector shell adjacent to the hole in the wall of the connector shell. There is a hole in the first side of the crimping spring through which the crimping screw passes to engage the second opposite side of the crimping spring. The crimping screw and the crimping spring are constructed to reversibly crimp an electrical wire between the second opposite side of the crimping spring and an internal wall of the connecting pin when said crimping screw is screwed into said electrical connector.

  • Patent number: 7531972
Abstract: A remote controlled porch light that has a rotating seat on a base seat, and a rotation driving seat fitting within the base seat. The rotation driving seat has a first reversible motor to rotate the rotation driving seat and lamp to the left or right. A movable lamp holder is attached rotatably to the rotation driving seat. The rotation driving seat has a second reversible motor to rotate the movable lamp holder and lamp up or down. One or more stopper pins in the rotation driving seat limit the degree of horizontal rotation of the rotation driving seat. The base seat is adjustable on an adjusting board to position the light within the center of its arc of rotation, allowing the stopper pins to limit the degree of rotation of the light so that the rotation will not damage the lamp or the house or building to which the light is attached.
