  • Patent number: 12216682
Abstract: A method is for validating a data set in a distributed database system in which the data set is stored distributedly on computers of the distributed database system. The method includes sending a request to one of the computers by a central computer. The request has a command to check for a given criterion of a partial data set of the data set on the computer to which the request was sent.

  • Publication number: 20240372193
Abstract: A battery includes a housing, a positive pole, a negative pole, and a plurality of rechargeable electrochemical energy storage elements arranged in the housing. Each respective rechargeable electrochemical energy storage element is connected to a common circuit board and/or arranged in or on a common cell holder frame. A first subset of 24 to 42 rechargeable electrochemical energy storage elements of the plurality of rechargeable energy storage elements is connected in series and/or in parallel to form a primary pack. A second subset of 4 to 12 rechargeable electrochemical energy storage elements of the plurality of rechargeable energy storage elements is connected in series and/or in parallel to form a secondary pack. The primary pack has a positive output electrically connected to the positive terminal of the battery and a negative output electrically connected to the negative terminal of the battery. Battery management electronics can additionally be provided.

  • Publication number: 20240282572
Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods and processing assemblies selectively depositing metal oxide by cyclic vapor deposition techniques. Such methods may be used for, for example, processing semiconductor substrates. More particularly, the disclosure relates to methods and assemblies for selectively depositing a metal oxide layer. Various embodiments of the current disclosure relate to selective deposition of metal oxide layers, such as dielectric layers, etch stop layers and threshold voltage shifting layers. In particular, the disclosure relates to the deposition of metal oxide layers, such as yttrium oxide (Y2O3), and doped metal oxide layers, such as yttrium-doped aluminum oxide (AlYOx) by cyclic vapor deposition processes.

  • Patent number: 7934421
Abstract: A wheel test assembly for testing a wheel-and-tire assembly includes a drum operatively mounted to a base for rotation of the drum. The drum includes an inner circumferential surface. A tailstock assembly is slidably coupled to the base for movement in a lateral direction relative to the drum. A support assembly is slidably coupled to the tailstock assembly for movement in a vertical direction for positioning the wheel-and-tire assembly into rolling contact with the inner circumferential surface of the drum. A spindle assembly is pivotally coupled to the support assembly to adjust a camber angle of the wheel-and-tire assembly. The wheel-and-tire assembly is mounted to the spindle assembly for rotation of the wheel-and-tire assembly.

  • Patent number: 5234017
Abstract: A restrictor valve functions as an outlet valve in a metered liquid dispensing system and utilizes a spring biased, shiftable anti-siphon check valve to prevent fluid flow back from the receiving tank into the system. The restrictor valve is attached to the delivery end of the system discharge hose. The dispensing system is controlled by a central electronic unit and the restrictor valve includes a sensing unit for signalling the electronic control when liquid is present at the outlet. The restrictor valve is connected to the receiving tank by a low spill coupling to minimize escape of the liquid into the environment. The restrictor valve may also include a vacuum breaker valve which admits air into the discharge hose when the system pump is run in reverse to remove the prime from the discharge hose.
