  • Patent number: 10415225
Abstract: A stormwater management system includes a plurality of first cells arranged in a lower level and a plurality of second cells arranged in an upper level, each of the first cells having a body portion with an internal region, the first cells in fluid communication with one another, each of the second cells having a body portion having an inner surface with a substantially cylindrical shape and defining an internal region, each of the second cells stacked on a corresponding one of the first cells, the first cells and the second cells in combination constituting a plurality of stacked pairs, for each stacked pair the internal region of the first cell is in fluid communication with the internal region of the second cell to permit stormwater to flow from the internal region of the first cell to the internal region of the second cell.

  • Publication number: 20190055725
Abstract: A cell for a stormwater management system includes a body portion, an internal region, and at least one of a top portion or a bottom portion. The body portion includes a plurality of corner columns spaced from each other, a first horizontal member, and a second horizontal member. At least one of the first and second horizontal members is adjacent the at least one of the top portion or the bottom portion and opposite the other horizontal member. The first horizontal member extends between at least two corner columns and has at least a portion curved inward towards the internal region. The second horizontal member extends between at least two corner columns and has at least a portion curved inward towards the internal region. The first and second horizontal members are integrally formed with the body portion.

  • Patent number: 10053853
Abstract: A cell for a stormwater management system adapted for retaining or detaining stormwater. The cell comprises a body portion and an internal region. The body portion comprises a plurality of corner columns spaced from each other, a plurality of wall portions, and a window. Each wall portion extends from one of the corner columns to another of the corner columns. Each wall portion comprises an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface of each wall portion is curved. The window is through at least one of the wall portions. The window is adapted to permit passage of stormwater into and out of the internal region of the cell.

  • Patent number: 9957686
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a customizable, modular foundation system using blocks and post-tensioning for improved structural integrity of the foundation. In some embodiments, the improved foundation system is provided by post-tensioning a plurality of blocks together such that cables or bars used for tensioning run in different directions than any of the joint lines between adjacent blocks. In this way, there are no bendable joints between adjacent blocks. Moreover, in some embodiments the blocks are hexagonal, such that each block has six sides and post-tensioning cables can run in at least three different directions. Structures or apparatuses may be secured to the foundation comprised of multiple blocks, with the foundation being rigid, customizable, and both assembled and usable in any desired location.

  • Patent number: 9732509
Abstract: A stormwater management system adapted for retaining or detaining stormwater. The underground system comprises a plurality of cells arranged in a generally honeycomb configuration. Each of the plurality of cells is generally hexagonal in cross-section and has an internal region. The plurality of cells are in fluid communication with one another to allow stormwater to flow from the internal region of one of the plurality of cells to the internal region of another of the plurality of cells.
