  • Publication number: 20040091490
Abstract: The present invention is directed to stable formulations of modified antibodies, each comprising an antibody fragment in an aqueous solution covalently attached to at least one nonproteinaceous polymer, such as poly(ethyleneglycol), through a succinimide moiety. CDP870 is an example of one such modified antibody. The formulations of the present invention include a buffer that maintains the solution at a pH of 3.5 to about 6, wherein all components of the modified antibody, including a succinimide ring of the succinimide moiety, are stable.

  • Publication number: 20020143708
Abstract: A system and method for conducting secure credit card transactions over the Internet, wherein the system and method are implemented using software which selectively switches a computer modem from the Internet to a secure telephone line and free standing server and then back to the Internet. When a consumer is ready to make a purchase from a web site, their Internet connection to the site is temporarily disconnected and the consumer is simultaneously switched to a secure telephone line connection to a server operated by the applicant. The details regarding the purchase, such as item being purchased, purchase price and merchant identity are automatically provided to the server. The consumer is then prompted to enter a pre-registered PIN which together with the phone number from which the consumer is calling are used by the server to verify the identity of the consumer.
