Abstract: Disclosed are folic acid or pteroic acid conjugates and methods for using such conjugates. The conjugates described herein comprise a chemotherapeutic drug or imaging agent covalently bound thereto through a bond or via a linker that is intracellularly disrupted by, e.g., endogenous enzymes such as esterases, lipases and the like so as to provide for the chemotherapeutic drug free of the folic or pteroic acid.

Abstract: A security device is provided including a security lock configured to retain an object when locked, a receiver configured to receive a security code transmission, and processing circuitry configured to transition the security lock between a locked state and unlock permissive state based on receipt of a security code. The security lock may initially be set to the unlock permissive state. At the first instance in which a security code is received, the processing circuitry may transition the security lock to a key permissive mode in which the security lock transitions to a locked state and in response to a subsequent receipt of the security code the security lock transitions to the unlock permissive state.

Abstract: Personalized content is generated from different media items using a content index. The content index is generated or updated by identifying segments of media items that are of particular interest to users. User interactions with the media items are analyzed and metadata of segments of media items that are determined to be of particular interest to the users is recorded. The parameters associated with a request for personalized content for a user are matched with the recorded metadata to identify relevant media items or segments of media items which are transmitted to the user as the personalized content.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing enclosure, which at least sealingly contains an electronic component, a barrier, a pump, and a coolant. The electronic component is located on a substrate, while the barrier defines a circulation loop in which the coolant is exposed to the electronic component. The pump is positioned within the circulation loop to cause flow of the coolant through the circulation loop.

Abstract: A method for extending thermodynamic turbine mapping of a turbocharger, the turbocharger including a turbine and a compressor, the method including the steps of providing a steady-state turbocharger gas test stand configured to flow continuous gas to the turbocharger, the test stand including a throttle device disposed upstream of an inlet of the compressor of the turbocharger, and varying an area of the inlet with the throttle device to change density of the continuously flowing gas at the inlet of the compressor and establish a choked-flow condition for extending the thermodynamic turbine mapping of the turbocharger.

Abstract: Content can be replicated automatically to facilitate distribution of the content to one or more devices. Determinations can be made automatically regarding where to replicate data, how to replicate data, and when to replicate data based on a variety of collected data with respect to devices, content servers, content sources, and content. More particularly, one or more content servers can be identified as targets for content replication and a protocol can be determined to replicate content from at least one source to the one or more content servers identified. Subsequently, replication can be initiated to the one or more content servers with the corresponding protocol at a determined time. Further, similar mechanisms can be employed to enable automatic determination of how and when to distribute or replicate content from one or more content servers to one or more target devices.

Abstract: A watercraft lift system including one or more laterally-adjustable components and a related method are disclosed. The watercraft lift system can include a cradle assembly and optionally at least one side guide, which can be connected to the cradle assembly. The cradle assembly can include substantially parallel first and second cradle rails. One or both of the first cradle rail and the at least one side guide can be movable in a lateral direction between a wider watercraft-receiving position and a narrower watercraft-received position. In an example, lateral movement of the first cradle rail and/or the at least one side guide from the watercraft-receiving position to the watercraft-received position occurs automatically upon entry of a watercraft into the confines of the watercraft lift system. The watercraft lift system can further comprise an actuator to cause lateral movement of the first cradle rail and/or the at least one side guide.

Abstract: An anti-distracted driving system comprises a plurality of transceivers at different locations within a vehicle. Each of the transceivers is operable to receive a signal from a mobile communication device and to output a detection signal indicative of the strength of the received signal. A controller in communication with the transceivers is operable to calculate a corresponding distance of the mobile communication device for each of the detection signals and to determine a location of the mobile communication device within the vehicle based on the distances. The controller can send a signal from a transceiver to a mobile communication device in response to determining that the mobile communication device is near a driver's seat, the signal causing at least one function of the mobile communication device to be inhibited.

Abstract: A turbomachine component having film cooling arrangement includes a cooling passage, an external wall having an outer surface to be positioned in a hot gas path and an inner surface forming a part of the cooling passage, film cooling holes formed through the external wall, and a flow guide arrangement having a flow guide corresponding to one of the film cooling holes. Each film cooling hole has an inlet at the inner surface and an outlet at the outer surface. The inlet receives a cooling fluid from the cooling passage and the outlet releases it over the outer surface. The flow guide positioned at the inlet of the corresponding film cooling hole on the inner surface redirects within the cooling passage a flow of the cooling fluid such that the flow makes a U-turn before entering the inlet of the corresponding film cooling hole in a reversed flow.

The method includes determining, by one or more controllers, a limiting energy storage device based at least in part on a current rating for the limiting energy storage device. The method includes determining, by the one or more controllers, an adjusted allowable system current based at least in part on modifying one or more operational parameters of the limiting energy storage device. The method includes determining, by the one or more controllers, a modified operational parameter of the limiting energy storage device to increase the allowable system current of the energy storage system. Abstract: Various embodiments relate to providing dynamic absolute-path symbolic links. According to one embodiment, indication of a symbolic link is received, which references a target, the indication including an absolute path of the target that includes a target mount point and a name of the target. A current mount point of the target is identified, and a verification is made that the target mount point is identical to the current mount point. When the target mount point is identical to the current mount point, a string length of the current mount point is determined, and an in-memory record of the symbolic link is created. The in-memory record includes the string length of the current mount point associated with the symbolic link.
