  • Patent number: 12025969
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for machining dental prostheses including, over a network, receiving data concerning a dental prosthesis, selecting a material from which to machine the dental prosthesis, and determining machining instructions for machining the dental prosthesis based on a nominal enlargement factor corresponding to the selected material. The method can also include storing the machining instructions, receiving a request from a milling machine for a dental prosthesis to be milled by the milling machine, and associating the dental prosthesis with the milling machine. The method can also include selecting a material blank comprised of the selected material, determining a material blank enlargement factor of the selected material blank, modifying the machining instructions according to a difference between the nominal enlargement factor and the material blank enlargement factor, and machining the dental prosthesis according to the modified machining instructions.

  • Patent number: 12023869
Abstract: A system for detecting irregularities in three-dimensional parts being manufactured using an additive manufacturing process. Images of the manufactured cross section are obtained via an apparatus, then processed for irregularities as the object manufacturing cycle progresses. These images are processed through computational algorithms in order to identify areas of compromised integrity or quality. This data is then used to determine the risk of the part as manufactured, and an assessment is performed to determine if the process should continue. Should the manufacturing process be determined to proceed, the data is stored to be further assessed later by technicians, operators, and/or engineers.

  • Patent number: 12024153
Abstract: An agricultural sprayer includes an actuator configured to adjust the position of a boom assembly of the sprayer relative to a frame of the sprayer. A computing system is configured to determine the operating parameter of the sprayer at a current time based on received sensor data. Moreover, the computing system is configured to anticipate when the boom assembly will move relative to the frame in a fore/aft direction at a future time based on the determined operating parameter, with the fore/aft direction being parallel to a direction of travel of the agricultural sprayer. In addition, when it is anticipated that the boom assembly will move, the computing system is configured to control the operation of the actuator before the future time such that movement of the boom assembly relative to the frame is reduced at the future time.

  • Patent number: 12027760
Abstract: An antenna system of a satellite may consist of an antenna receiver that is coupled to a plurality of flexible couplings. The couplings may each be affixed to one or more antenna elements. The couplings may be deployed in space in an uncontrolled manner. Additionally, the spacing between the couplings, and in turn the antenna elements, may be spaced in an uncontrolled manner. The antenna elements may have no pointing requirements. The antenna system may receive training signals and associate an antenna element to a time of arrival based on the training signal. Upon receiving a data signal, the antenna system may apply coefficients determined from the association of the antenna element to the time of arrival to the data signal to discover wanted signal coherence among the antenna elements.

  • Patent number: 12027854
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for detecting downstream devices connected to an electrical load controlling device. An example embodiment operates by detecting an association signal from a downstream smart device responsive to a downstream smart device detection signal. The example embodiment further operates by determining whether the downstream smart device is coupled to an electrical terminal of an electrical switching device and configured to receive electricity in response to an actuation of the electrical switching device. If so, the example embodiment further operates by generating a control signal configured to instruct the electrical switching device to prevent a deactuation of the electrical switching device and transmitting the control signal to the electrical switching device.
