  • Publication number: 20100089588
Abstract: An artificial lift deployed on concentric tubing allows gas to be vented from below packers in a well. A central flow path is used for the fluid production from the artificial lift system, while an outer concentric tubing allows for the venting and production of gas from below a packer. The gas enters the outer concentric flow path through a perforated sub set that is located below the packer. Sealing of the inner concentric string flow from the outer concentric flow path is achieved with a polished bore receptacle and stinger assembly.

  • Publication number: 20100094705
Abstract: An advertising method and system with use of multi-screened computer monitor units is disclosed. A server having a database in which is stored a plurality of advertisement software packages is in data communication with a network of interconnected computers, each of which is associated with a multi-screened monitor unit having an agent side and at least one oppositely facing client side. After a request for an advertisement is initiated, an advertisement software package is retrieved from the database according to predetermined selection rules and transmitted to a target computer. A corresponding advertisement image is displayed on a client side of the monitor unit while the agent is able to view other images on the agent side of the monitor unit. In one embodiment, the multi-screened monitor unit receives VGA data and USB video data from the target computer and transmits the same to the agent and client sides, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20100094708
Abstract: A system for defining objects within a database is disclosed. The system includes an inventory identification application that generates an inventory identifier. The inventory identifier being a reference saved to the database that specifies characteristics of data within an inventory unit. A publisher using the inventory identifier application defines the specific characteristics and the inventory identifier application generates code. The publishers use the generated code within a website to recall the inventory identifier that is saved in the database. The system also includes a server system that receives a request to recall the inventory identifier. The request is the result of execution of the generated code when the website is accessed by a user. The request is fulfilled by accessing the inventory identifier at the database and matching data within the inventory unit based on the stored characteristics within the inventory identifier.

  • Publication number: 20100089074
Abstract: A method of cooling an outer wall of polymer pipe is provided. The method includes extruding a layer of polymer onto a pipe to form an outer wall of pipe; conveying the pipe including the outer wall of pipe through an inner aperture of an annular air-cooler having an annular air manifold; and blowing pressurized air, at a temperature lower than a temperature of the outer wall of pipe, through the annular air manifold such that it contacts the outer wall of pipe and cools the outer wall of pipe at a rate that is a function of a pressure of the pressurized air and a difference between the temperature of the pressurized air and the temperature of the outer wall of pipe. An apparatus for cooling an outer wall of polymer pipe is also provided.

The logical query indicator includes at least one physical database query and at least one database node identifier that allows at least one distributed database node to identify at least one physical database to execute the physical database query against. It is determined that the at least one database node identifier matches a local node identifier. The at least one physical database query is executed against at least one local physical database table. A local query response is formed including data retrieved from the at least one local physical database table. The database query is responded to with at least the local query response. • Publication number: 20100095324
Abstract: Advertisements can be paired based on their context to achieve increased advertising effectiveness that might not be able to be achieved without the pairing. The advertisements can be paired based on a user's preferred context, which includes an attribute of one of the advertisements. For example, a conditional advertisement can be paired with a scheduled advertisement based on an industry type, the length of the other advertisement, or some other characteristic. Each characteristic can be given a weight, to aid in pairing determinations. The effectiveness of the pairing can be tracked, and the context can be iteratively modified based on the measured effectiveness of the advertising campaign. Pairing can be performed without identifying other advertisers, even though weighting factors may take a sponsor's identity into account. Pairing can be constrained by a master schedule and by a maximum allowed number of conditional spots.

  • Publication number: 20100090415
Abstract: A hydraulic seal arrangement for a rotating machine, particularly a gas turbine engine, comprises a hydraulic seal and a hydraulic trap. When the machine is shut down, oil is retained in the hydraulic trap. When the machine is restarted, the oil from the hydraulic trap is available to re-make the hydraulic seal, thereby reducing or avoiding the leakage that typically occurs in such seal arrangements until the flow of oil through the seal arrangement is re-established.

  • Publication number: 20100095286
Abstract: A system and method for efficient architectural register liveness analysis and register usage reduction. A compiler within a computing system maintains a master liveness vector for each instruction in a program code and a path liveness vector for each path within a predetermined control flow graph (CFG). Predetermined required paths from an earlier compiler stage are used to find force paths, which are used to reduce the number of times a control block (CB) is processed. Upon completion of the liveness analysis, the compiler finds an instruction within the program code where a chosen register previously dead is now live. The compiler identifies allocation code paths from this instruction, wherein each path terminates at an instruction wherein the chosen register is dead for the first time in the allocation code path. The compiler subsequently replaces the chosen register with a determined dead register.
