  • Patent number: 10739749
Abstract: A system and method capable of encoding design intent for an article of manufacture wherein the original design intent encoding is abstract from any particular manufacturing process or machine, but allows for dynamic process adjustment accounting for real-world variations of stock material such that the design intent is preserved and the processing time and effort are not significantly affected. Because design intent is preserved, tool selection and machine process can be optimized to maximize quality and minimize manufacturing time and cost.

  • Patent number: 10737001
Abstract: In part, the disclosure relates to an aspirator having a handle that includes a suction connector extending from a proximal end face, a substantially cylindrical sleeve mount having an outer surface and a shoulder. A tubular member defining a bore and having flared end disposed in a suction head having one or more cantilevered protuberances can extend from the sleeve mount. The substantially cylindrical sleeve mount is in relief with respect to the shoulder and extends distally therefrom. The substantially cylindrical sleeve mount defines an aperture. The suction connector bore, bore of tubular member, inner cavity of handle and suction head bore define a fluid flow path or cavity. The aspirator can include a sleeve that receives the suction head. The sleeve engages and interferes with the sleeve mount. The suction head and sleeve's inner wall have one or more engineered clearances between them to enhance assembly.

  • Patent number: 10737956
Abstract: A system for treating a polar liquid includes a signal generator for providing an alternating electrical current, and a transducer electrically coupled to the signal generator. The transducer includes a solenoidal coil and two ferromagnetic end pieces at the ends of the coil and transverse thereto. In operation, the transducer is at least partially immersed in a polar liquid and, when energized with the current provides a magnetic field into the liquid, the field may change a property of the liquid, e.g. an interfacial mass transfer rate. This can be used in many different industrial applications.

  • Patent number: 10742894
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for producing high quality images in uncontrolled or impaired environments. In some examples of the disclosed technology, groups of cameras for high dynamic range (HDR), polarization diversity, and optional other diversity modes are arranged to concurrently image a common scene. For example, in a vehicle checkpoint application, HDR provides discernment of dark objects inside a vehicle, while polarization diversity aids in rejecting glare. Spectral diversity, infrared imaging, and active illumination can be applied for better imaging through a windshield. Preprocessed single-camera images are registered and fused. Faces or other features of interest can be detected in the fused image and identified in a library. Impairments can include weather, insufficient or interfering lighting, shadows, reflections, window glass, occlusions, or moving objects.

  • Patent number: 10742649
Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods that enable secure authentication to a network and virtual environment setup. An end point computing device combines data input by a user with stored data to determine an IP address where login credentials can be transmitted for authentication. The end point device transmits system information to a provider front end computing device for authentication. In this manner, a user identity and the end point device can be authenticated without the need to store identifying information to the end point device or communicate with a provider's secure back end network. The provider devices determine permissions data that define the user's ability to interact with the provider's network. The provider front end device transmits settings data to the end point device that is used to connect to the provider's network and establish a virtual working environment.

  • Patent number: 10742257
Abstract: A Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver demodulates code shift keying (CSK) data utilizing a binary search. The GNSS receiver receives a signal including a pseudorandom noise (PRN) code modulated by code shift keying (CSK) to represent a symbol (i.e., CSK modulated symbol). The GNSS receiver maintains a plurality of receiver codes each representing a different shift in chips to the PRN code. The GNSS receiver performs a linear combination of portions of the receiver codes. In an embodiment, the GNSS receiver compares correlation power level value for respective portions of the receiver codes to demodulate the CSK data. In a further embodiment, the GNSS receiver compares the correlation power level values for portions of receiver codes with power detection threshold values to demodulate the CSK data. In a further embodiment, the GNSS receiver utilizes signs of the correlation power level values to demodulate the CSK data.
