  • Publication number: 20210372000
Abstract: The metallization of a metallic rack employed in galvanic metallization processes of plastic material items, coated by immersion in PVC Plastisol, is inhibited thanks to the fact that PVC Plastisol is mixed with a C8-C18 thiol selected from octyl mercaptan, nonyl mercaptan, decyl mercaptan, n-octadecyl-3-mercaptopropionate, isooctyl-3-mercaptopropionate, n-octyl-mercaptopropionate, dodecyl-3-mercaptopropionate, tridecyl-3-mercaptopropionate, palmityl mercaptan, bis-phenyl-1,4-thiol.

  • Patent number: 6369741
Abstract: A method is provided for defining programmed values of the boost and cut-off frequency parameters of a low pass filter of pre-equalization, of a read channel for a magnetic medium mass memory device, to ensure optimal functioning conditions of the adaptive filter of final equalization. The method includes pre-programming instantaneous digital values of the boost and cut-off frequency parameters of the low pass filter of pre-equalization for each magnetic medium, as a function of purposely sensed instantaneous operating parameters of the adaptive filter that carries out the definitive equalization of the signal during a trim scanning of the magnetic medium.

  • Patent number: 6215436
Abstract: A differential decoder has a wide output dynamic range and reduced area consumption. The decoder includes a plurality of inputs which are correlated to a plurality of output lines. The output lines are driven by respective NPN type bipolar transistors which are connected to the output lines by their emitters while the input signals are fed to their bases. The decoder also includes a plurality of additional output lines which are complementary to the output lines and another plurality of NPN type bipolar transistors which are suitable to drive the additional output lines. The additional bipolar transistors are connected to the additional output lines through their emitter terminals, and are connected to the base and collector terminals of the bipolar transistors that drive the output lines, through their base and collector terminals.

  • Patent number: 6204990
Abstract: A servo-demodulator for a pair of alternating signals generated by a magnetic disc read head and indicative of the position of the read head in relation to the center of a recorded track. The servo-demodulator comprises a peak detector for successively and individually sampling the amplitude of each of a plurality of peaks of the pair of alternating signals, and a capacitor periodically connected to the output of the peak detector by a control logic for deriving a weighted average of the various successively sampled amplitudes. In this manner, the control logic obtains an averaged measure of amplitude with high immunity to noise.
