  • Patent number: 12122195
Abstract: A method for controlling, by a remote monitoring and/or control device, an activation of a command in a wheel unit that has previously stored a group of authorized UHF communication devices and checked whether a device that has sent a response message belongs to the group. If it does, the wheel unit sends a series of command-related signaling messages with each message associated with a single command. When the authorized device receives a message relating to a specific command that the authorized device requests to have activated by the wheel unit, the authorized device sends back to the wheel unit a standard response message interpreted as an activation order for the wheel unit to activate the specific command.

  • Patent number: 11454518
Abstract: A method for determining a measurement signal based on a sensor output electrical signal. The electrical signal based on the measured quantity conversion of the electrical signal into a measurement signal. Determining the measurement signal for least two pairs of values by converting the electrical signal into a measurement signal for at least two predetermined electrical signal values, each pair of values including the electrical signal and measurement signal. A mathematical function allowing a measurement signal to be obtained based on the electrical signal is determined based on the pairs of values. The measurement signal being substantially equal to the measurement signal obtained by applying the sensor conversion to the same sensor electrical signal. At least two measurement signals are determined without sensor conversion. Acquisition of the two measurement signals separated by a time shorter than the time to convert an electrical signal into a measurement signal by sensor conversion.

  • Publication number: 20220150709
Abstract: A method for adjusting a periodicity of communication between a wheel unit and a remote monitoring and/or control device, a communication being carried out using ultra-high-frequency radio waves, the wheel unit sending with a predetermined first periodicity basic signaling messages indicating its presence to any communication device located in an environment of the wheel unit. The wheel unit, having previously stored a group of communication devices authorized to serve as monitoring devices therefor, checks whether the communication device having sent a response message belongs to the group, and, if this is the case, the wheel unit replaces the first periodicity with at least one shorter second periodicity resulting in a more intense two-way exchange for any signaling message subsequently sent from the wheel unit to the authorized device.

  • Patent number: 11325433
Abstract: A method for reconfiguring a device for monitoring a tire, incorporating a pressure sensor and a communication module. The device may receive and store configuration data intrinsic to the tire. Based on pressure measurements and the configuration data, the device generates and stores advanced data relating to use of the tire over time. Following reception of new configuration data, the method includes: detecting a tire change based on the previously stored configuration data and the newly received configuration data, if a tire change is detected: erasing the advanced data from the memory means of the device, if not, retaining the advanced data in the memory of the device.
