  • Publication number: 20250232694
Abstract: A method and system for displaying tag content on a shelf-edge digital display is provided. In an embodiment, a retail information server is configured to receive tag provisioning information from a mobile device, retrieve retail information associated with one or more goods based on the tag provisioning information, and generate a digital signal based on the tag provisioning information and the retail information. A media player is configured to receive the digital signal and render visual tag content including the retrieved retail information. A digital display device positioned on a product display shelf in a retail environment and configured to receive the rendered visual tag content and to display the visual tag content at a location on the digital display device corresponding to a location of the associated one or more goods on the product display shelf.

  • Patent number: 10214567
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods and uses for screening anti-hepadnaviral substances, wherein the substances are screened for the capacity to inhibit covalently closed circular (ccc) DNA of a hepadnavirus, like hepatitis B virus. The methods and uses take advantage of cells comprising a nucleic sequence encoding a tagged hepadnavirus e antigen, like Hepatitis B virus e antigen (HBeAg). Furthermore, the present invention provides nucleic acid sequences encoding a tagged hepadnavirus e antigen and proteins encoded thereby. Also kits for use in the screening methods are provided.

  • Publication number: 20180113500
Abstract: A system can include a battery, a processing device, and a memory device. The battery can power a device. The memory device can store instructions are stored for causing the processing device to track data about the battery. The processing device can determine a battery life of the battery based on the data. The battery life can indicate a degradation in the battery over multiple discharge cycles. The processing device can notify a user of the device if the battery life is below a threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20170347388
Abstract: A method can include determining that a mobile device is within a communication range of an access point for a first wireless local area network, causing the mobile device to present an interface that receives user input for at least one of authenticating the mobile device or authorizing the mobile device, and connecting the mobile device to the first wireless local area network based on the user input received via the interface. The method can further include determining that the mobile device is within a communication range of an access point for a second wireless local area network, determining a service set identifier for each access point is governed by a common access policy, and connecting the mobile device to the second wireless local area network based on the service set identifiers being governed by the common access policy.
