  • Publication number: 20250168655
Abstract: Some aspects include an apparatus, method, and computer program product for facilitating control messaging for multi-beam communications in 5G wireless communication systems. Nodes of a 5G network may be generate Medium Access Control Control Elements (MAC CEs) to update User Equipment (UE) with different Component Carrier (CC) settings. The MAC CEs may update a list of CCs to reduce messaging overhead and latency. For example, a MAC CE may indicate an update for a Transmission Configuration Indication (TCI) state for a list of CCs. Similarly, a MAC CE may be used to update a spatial relation for a Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) resource set and/or a SRS resource corresponding to a list of CCs. A MAC CE may also be used to update multiple TCI codepoints having one or two TCI states in a multi-Transmission Reception Point (multi-TRP) scenario.

  • Publication number: 20250163419
Abstract: The invention provides non-opioid pain therapeutic compositions that include an antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) complementary to an identified target on a NaV channel mRNA. The ASO hybridizes to its target RNA and forms a duplex that recruits RNase H to degrade the RNA, thereby downregulating NaV channel synthesis, which inhibits the neuron's ability to contribute to the perception of pain. The ASO targets one of the specific identified targets, and may be provided as a gapmer that includes a central DNA segment flanked by modified RNA wings. When the composition is delivered to dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons in vitro, the DRG neurons exhibit a dose-dependent knockdown of NaV1.7, NaV1.8, or NaV1.9.

  • Publication number: 20250167952
Abstract: Systems and methods provide Layer 1 reference signal received power (L1-RSRP) measurement and transmission configuration indication (TCI) state switching. A cellular communications network determines a plurality transmission reception points (TRPs) configured for high speed train (HST) communication using millimeter wave (mmWave) signals, and generates a synchronization signal block (SSB) index configuration for the plurality TRPs. The SSB index configuration uses non-adjacent SSB indexes between the plurality of TRPs. A user equipment (UE), in response to entering a HST mode, performs L1-RSRP measurement sharing for SSBs received from different TRPs. A scheduling restraint may be used for TCI state switching. Autonomous UL TA adjustment timing may also be used.

  • Publication number: 20250158695
Abstract: Some embodiments include a system, method, and computer program product for managing beam switching at a higher subcarrier spacing (SCS) at millimeter wavelength (mmWave) frequencies in a 5G wireless communications system. A user equipment (UE) transmits a beam switching gap (BSG) capability to a 5G Node B (gNB). The UE receives a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state from the gNB, and performs a beam switch to the TCI state corresponding to a first beam. The UE can receive a first control resource set (CORESET) on the first beam and a second CORESET on a second beam where the BSG occurs between the first CORESET and a second CORESET. The UE can perform beam switching within the BSG from the first beam to a second beam, and receive the second CORESET on the second beam. The UE can determine and transmit modified candidate values of beam switching parameters to the gNB.
