Abstract: Methods and a system that back up container-based applications running on an information handling system. Configurations are collected of the container-based applications. Volumes are determined as to the container-based applications as found in storage with persistent volumes. The container-based applications are quiesced, while clones of the volumes are created that are used by the container-based applications. A backup is performed using a data mover for each volume of the cloned volumes.

Abstract: Systems and methods for management of a premises are disclosed. One or more premises devices may be located at a premises. A computing device located at the premises may be in communication with the one or more premises devices. The computing device may also be in communication with an external network. The computing device may process data associated with the one or more premises devices using one or more automation rules.

A touchscreen at the premises is coupled to the gateway and presents user interfaces. The user interfaces include a security interface that provides control of functions of the security system and access to data collected by the security system, and a network interface that provides access to network devices. A camera is located at the premises and coupled to the gateway via a plurality of interfaces. A security server at a remote location is coupled to the gateway. The security server comprises a client interface through which remote client devices exchange data with the gateway and the security system.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for determining an advertisement based on the relative motion of an audience to the advertisement. The system determines the relative motion of the audience to the advertisement and the audience demographics to determine advertisement content and format. The system causes to be displayed the advertisement having both the determined content and format. For example, the systems and methods present a static advertisement image to an audience with a large relative motion to the advertisement, allowing the advertiser to present information to moving audiences who will not be potentially distracted by a video advertisement.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for recommending content restrictions to a user based on chatter in a social network of the user. The system analyzes chatter in the social network to identify a correlation between what is posted by users and the content that the users are posting about. The system stores a mapping between chatter and expected attributes of the content referenced by the chatter. The system will determine whether to block the content when an expected attribute is associated with a content restriction.

Abstract: A method for enhancing resource utilization in Texas Holdem poker comprises administering a primary Texas Holdem poker round for a plurality of players and, concurrently with the primary Texas Holdem poker round, administering a secondary Texas Holdem poker round among at least some players who have folded out of the primary Texas Holdem poker round. These folded players retain their respective hole cards from the primary Texas Holdem poker round for the secondary Texas Holdem poker round, and the secondary Texas Holdem poker round utilizes at least one otherwise idle resource from the primary Texas Holdem poker round. For physical games played at a table with physical playing cards, the otherwise idle resource(s) comprises table positions of folded players, and for computerized poker games played with virtual playing cards, the otherwise idle resource(s) comprise the remote communication connections between the dealer computer system and the player computer systems.

The server may be configured to receive, from a user device located external to the premises, a request for content from a premises device located at the premises. The server may be configured to transmit, to a gateway device located at the premises, a request to cause transmission of the content. The gateway device may configured to determine, based on the request to cause transmission of the content and a capability of a network, a routing protocol for transmission of the content. The gateway device may be configured to cause transmission of the content. The transmission of the content may use the determined routing protocol. The transmission of the content may be via the network.

The tiller in the downward tilt position is configured to permit manual carrying of the transportable outboard motor.

Abstract: A transportable outboard motor has a tiller which is pivotable about a lateral tilt axis into a plurality of tilt positions and also pivotable about an axial yaw axis into a plurality of yaw positions. The tiller is pivotable about the axial yaw axis into a straight-ahead position, into a port yaw position which is oriented towards the port side relative to the straight-ahead position, and into a starboard yaw position which is oriented towards the starboard side relative to the straight-ahead position. The tiller is pivotable downwardly about the lateral tilt axis from the port yaw position, and downwardly about the lateral tilt axis from the starboard yaw position. Pivoting the tiller into the plurality of yaw positions creates space for a user to manually grasp a swivel tube and thereby lift the transportable outboard motor from a rear-laydown position.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for generating for display a notification to a plurality of users at a position within a display screen to which each user of the plurality of users is paying attention. Specifically, the media guidance application captures lines of sight of users who are paying attention to a display screen, based on which the media guidance application determines line-of-sight regions on the display screen that the users are paying attention to. The media guidance application then determines a display area that is noticeable to the users based on the respective line-of-sight regions on the display screen to display an electronic message.

Abstract: Technologies and techniques for vehicle perception. A first contour of a current image a dna second contour of a next image are determined relative to an optical center. The current image is scaled to the next image relative to the optical center, wherein the scaling includes applying a scale vector to the first contour. A frame offset vector is determined, and the second contour is translated, based on the frame offset vector and the scale vector, to align the translated second contour to a focus of expansion. An image velocity is determined, based on the first contour and the translated second contour, wherein the image velocity is used to determine object movement from the image data.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for performing tip-pooling aggregation and distribution. In some implementations, data is extracted from a plurality of different data sources. The data is normalized to a same format. The normalized data, which is attributed to a remote identifier, is indexed to an identifier representing a same source as the remote identifier. Portions of the normalized data indexed to the same contribution source are allocated to buckets based on a contribution period and a role for the same contribution source and a rule applicable to the contribution period. Portions of the normalized data indexed to different contribution sources are aggregated in the buckets to different contribution sources according to the allocation rule. The aggregated portions of the normalized data are assigned to targets based on assignment rules applicable to the buckets and distribution targets active during the contribution period.

The Ebeam method includes executing an Ebeam scan of predefined length and resolution based on the design alignment over a pattern edge of the device layer, generating a signal from reflections of the Ebeam scan off the pattern edge, determining an offset of the device layer relative to the alignment layer from a comparison of the signal and the design alignment and applying the offset to the design alignment to obtain an actual measurement of Ebeam alignment.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for altering a start time of an event based on indicia of how late event attendees will be for the event that are retrieved from location applications corresponding to each attendee of the attendees. For example, a media guidance application may determine a start time of an event, a location of the event, and attendees of the event. The media guidance application may determine location applications corresponding to the attendees. The media guidance application may query the location applications for arrival times of each attendee. The media guidance application may calculate a plurality of differences between each of the arrival times and the start time of the event. Based on the plurality of differences, the media guidance application may delay the start time of the event.

Abstract: Methods and systems for managing a premises are disclosed. An interface device and a premises system may be located at the premises. The interface device may receive a signal from a premises device of the premises system. An indication of the premises device may be output via a user interface. Abstract: Technologies and techniques for vehicle perception. Contours are extracted from image data, and a first and second contour of a current image and next image are determined along a plurality of image row boundaries, wherein the contours includes a plurality of contour points linked to each other via respective edges. An image velocity vector is applied to project each of the plurality of first contour points to the next image, wherein at least some of the projected first contour points are not located on an image row boundary. The projected contour points are processed to determine projected edges forming a projected link between each projected contour point. The projected contour points are moved along the projected link to align each of the moved projected contour points to a respective image boundary. Each of the moved projected contour points are then linked to each of the second contour points.
