    Abstract: A device for anchoring an object to a surface includes an elongated shaft having opposed distal and proximal end portions and a surface engagement member operatively associated with the distal end portion of the elongated shaft. The surface engagement member is adapted and configured for radial engagement with the surface. The device further includes an object engagement member operatively associated with the proximal end portion of the elongated shaft whereby the object engagement member adapted and configured for releasably engaging the object.
