    Abstract: A pair of protective scissors, for use by a child, including a pair of elongated members pivotally coupled together by a pivot pin. A pair of cover members are secured to finger apertures of the elongated members. The cover members prevent the child from inserting his or her fingers entirely through the apertures, and thus train the child how to properly hold the scissors.
