  • Patent number: 11584481
Abstract: A floating observation system includes a floating platform. The floating platform includes an upper deck, upright posts, a device compartment, a ballast compartment, a radome structure and a device installation base. Top ends of the upright posts are connected to the upper deck, and bottom ends of the upright posts are connected to the device compartment. The ballast compartment is connected to the device compartment. The radome structure is borne on the upper deck. The device installation base is arranged on an outer surface of the floating platform. Various types of auxiliary devices are borne by the upper deck and the device compartment on the floating platform. Various observation devices borne by the device installation base are arranged on the outer surface of the floating platform to observe different kinds of information and to observe spaces above, on and under water, thus meeting a demand for comprehensive observation in all dimensions.

  • Publication number: 20220188232
Abstract: A uniform cache system and method for fast data access are disclosed. The system and method include a plurality of compute units (CUs) and a plurality of L0 caches. The plurality of CUs and the plurality of L0 caches are arranged in a network configuration where each one of the plurality of CUs is surrounded by a first group of the plurality of L0 caches and each of the plurality of L0 caches is surrounded by a L0 cache group and CU group. Operationally, ones of the plurality of CUs, upon a request for data, queries the surrounding first group of the plurality of L0 caches to satisfy the request. On a condition that the first group of the plurality of L0 caches fails to satisfy the data request, each of the first group of the plurality of L0 caches query a second group of adjacent L0 caches to satisfy the request. On a condition that the second group of adjacent L0 caches fails to satisfy the data request, each of the second group of adjacent L0 caches propagating the query to the next group of L0 caches.

  • Patent number: 9298675
Abstract: Legacy documents may be imported into online electronic document systems in a form in which the document is broken up into a collection discrete sub-documents. Styles are read from the legacy document and analyzed according to one or a number of factors, such as number of instances, combinations with other styles, and the like. Based on the analysis of the various styles, a set of styles is presented to a user to select style-based breakpoints to use in dividing the legacy document. As the system converts the legacy document from its source format into a designated target format, document managing functionality applies the selected breakpoints in the target formatted document according to the designated breakpoints. The system then generates a style sheet for the converted document including the style information for that document.

  • Publication number: 20140250361
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for defining a document construct in a text-readable document converted from a graphic-represented document. In operation, the graphic-represented document is rendered in memory of a computer operating the system and method. A plurality of horizontal and vertical lines are established across the whitespace in the graphic-represented document, such that the lines do not touch any graphics on the graphic-represented document. Regions within the document that are defined by the intersections of the horizontal and vertical lines are then analyzed for patterns or other indicia of a document construct. When such a construct is determined, construct indicators are inserted within the data describing the graphic-represented document as it is converted into the text-readable document.
