  • Patent number: 9209468
Abstract: A fuel cell failure prediction apparatus is provided. The prediction apparatus includes upstream and downstream voltage monitoring units, a data processing unit and a system control unit. The upstream and downstream voltages of each single cell may be synchronously monitored by the upstream and downstream voltage monitoring units. According to the monitored upstream and downstream voltages of each single cell, the data processing unit is used to obtain a differential voltage of the upstream and downstream voltages of each single cell. In accordance with the differential voltage, the system control unit performs a correcting control of failure prediction on the fuel cell.

  • Publication number: 20140296990
Abstract: A tibia component of a knee arthroplasty to be connected to a tibia includes a first tibia connecting structure and a second tibia connecting structure. The first tibia connecting structure can be inserted into a radial groove on the tibia along a radial direction of the tibia to limit the motion of the tibia component in the axial direction of the tibia. The second tibia connecting structure can be inserted into an axial groove on the tibia along the axial direction of the tibia to limit the motion of the tibia component in the radial direction of the tibia. The first and the second connecting structures provide the radial and axial bonding force to the tibia and the knee arthroplasty, so that the amount of bone cement used can be reduced and may beneficial to revision knee arthroplasty operation.

  • Publication number: 20130032211
Abstract: The present invention discloses an air compression system having a characteristic of storing unstable energy and a method for controlling the same. The air compression system comprises an energy conversion system, an energy storage device, a compression device, and an air storage device. The control method comprises the steps of: the energy conversion system collecting the unstable natural energy and converting the unstable energy into a mechanical energy; the energy conversion system transmitting the mechanical energy to the energy storage device for storage; the energy storage device transmitting the energy to the compression device; the compression device utilizing the energy for compressing air for at least one whole stroke; and the compression device storing the compressed air in the air storage device.

  • Publication number: 20040194398
Abstract: An anchoring apparatus for the mast on vehicles is adopted for use on an extendable mast mounted on a movable vehicle body to prevent the erected and extended mast from wobbling in the wind. The anchoring apparatus has a plurality of support posts located around the periphery of the vehicle body and equally spaced from the mast. The support post may include an upper support post and a lower support post. The lower support post may movably rest on the ground surface to support the vehicle body and have a bottom end linked tightly by a steel cable or rod to a neighboring bottom end. The upper support post may be movably extended outwards from the vehicle roof with an outer end linking to the top end of the mast by a steel cable. The outer end of the upper support post and the bottom end of the lower support post may be linked tightly by a steel cable under tension. Thereby the mast can be erected and anchored steadily.

  • Patent number: 6736243
Abstract: A mechanical type disc brake for bicycle mainly includes a housing, a mounting bracket for connecting the housing to a fork of the bicycle, a pull bar pivotally connected to an outer side of the housing, an actuating rod extended into the housing via the pull bar, and a toggle mechanism, two sliders, two brake linings, and a restoring element separately mounted in a locating space in the house at predetermined positions. When the pull bar is pulled, the actuating rod is caused to vertically act on the toggle mechanism for two actuating blocks thereof to move outward and push the sliders and the brake linings to create a brake effect. Contact surfaces between the actuating blocks of the toggle mechanism and the sliders are cambered surfaces to avoid an overly large frictional force between the brake linings and brake discs that would result in a brake dragging.

  • Patent number: 5678572
Abstract: An auxiliary cavity expanding device for an operation which may prop up a body portion for laparoscopic surgery in order to make space for the performance of the operation includes a plurality of stays and a stay sleeve. The stays are secured to a stay end tube and an end of each stay is provided with a stay pusher to shift the stays relative to the stay sleeve. This shifting causes bending of the stays and expanding of the cavity for the operation. After expansion, the stays can be secured in a desired position by screws which secure the stays relative to the stay sleeve.
