    Abstract: An electrical connector is mated with a counter connector in an inserting direction. The electrical connector includes an insulative housing and two rows of contacts inserted into the insulative housing in two opposite directions parallel to the inserting direction. The insulative housing defines two rows of receiving passageways arranged in a height direction perpendicular to the inserting direction. Each contact received in the receiving passageway defines a base portion, a pair of retaining portions extending from the base portion, a pair of elastic arms extending from the pair of retaining portions and a soldering portion extending from the base portion.     Abstract: A battery holder for a button-type battery (1) includes a holder body having a base wall (100) thereof for receiving the battery, and positive and negative terminals (20, 30) assembled to the holder body. The negative terminal has short and long spring elements (311, 315) defining first and second supporting point (311A, 315B) respectively, such that in an initial released position, the button-type battery is lifted up by the first and second supporting points bearing against the base wall, and in a fully released position, that battery is lifted by the second supporting point against the base wall with the first supporting point leaving away from the base wall. The above spring elements provides two-stage elastic forces, for ease of the user to release the battery from the battery holder.

Each passageway has a mating slot and a pair of retaining slots located at two sides of the mating slot and communicated with the mating slot. Each contact defines a soldering tail and a pair of arm portions extending from the soldering tail and retained in the two retaining slots respectively, the pair of arm portions shift in and between the mating slot and the retaining slot in a first direction, a pair of contact portions integrally project oppositely from inner sides of the arm portions. Wherein the arm portions define shrink sections at a position thereof opposite to the contact portions so that the shrink sections space away from the retaining slots in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.
