Abstract: Provided is a fingerprint sensor, including: a substrate; a plurality of photosensitive devices disposed on the substrate; a light-emitting module disposed on a side, distal to the substrate, of the plurality of photosensitive devices; and a protective cover disposed on a side, distal to the substrate, of the light-emitting module, wherein the protective cover is provided with a plurality of conductive structures electrically connected to the light-emitting module, the plurality of conductive structures being in one-to-one correspondence with the plurality of photosensitive devices, and an orthographic projection of each conductive structure onto the substrate at least partially being overlapped with an orthographic projection of the photosensitive device corresponding to the conductive structure onto the substrate.

The detection substrate includes: a plurality of photoelectric converters arranged in an array, where the photoelectric converter includes a plurality of film layers, an area of an overlapping region between electrode film layers forming an internal capacitor in the photoelectric converter is less than an area of the other film layer in the photoelectric converter; and a drive circuit electrically connected to the photoelectric converters.

A retaining section (21) extends rearwards from the rear surface and defines a dove-tailed, retaining cavity (22) on a top surface (220) thereof. A retaining, through hole (23) is defined in the insulating housing and communicating with the retaining cavity (220). The cover includes a locating block (41) retained in the dove-tailed, retaining cavity and a locking portion (42) entering the retaining, through hole. Thus, the cover is mounted to the insulating housing (2) firmly to protect soldering tails (33) and medial portions (32) of the contacts outside the insulating housing.

The dielectric housing includes an elongated base (12) and an arm (14) extending from one end of the base. The base includes an engaging face (121), an elongated slot (123) extending from the engaging face along a longitude axis thereof and a number of passageways (125) communicating with the slot (123). The arm includes a cavity (147) communicating with the slot adapted for receiving a side edge (21) of the electronic card (2) and a pair of resilient fingers (149) extending toward the engaging face adapted for resiliently sandwiching the electronic card. The terminals are received in the corresponding passageways and each has a contact portion exposed in the slot and a solder tail (22) extending beyond the base.
