Patent number: 10301202Abstract: An air infusion aeration system includes a submersible downdraft tube that carries fluid from its inlet opening to the outlet opening vertically above the inlet opening. The system includes an impeller coupled to the outlet opening and configured to: draw fluid into the inlet opening and provide the drawn fluid into a discharge pressure manifold (DPM) as a fluid stream. The system includes a turbo blower that injects air into the DPM, and the DPM, which includes a center portion and a smaller diameter end portion at opposite ends of the center portion. The DPM is configured to: reduce pressure of the fluid stream at a center of the DPM; within the end portions, receive the air injection into the pressure-reduced fluid stream thereby infusing the injected air into the fluid steam; and forcibly discharge the air-infused fluid stream down toward the body of fluid.Type: GrantFiled: May 6, 2016Date of Patent: May 28, 2019Assignee: Airmaster Aerator L.L.C.Inventor: Dean A. Caldwell

Patent number: 9321667Abstract: An aeration device includes a foam suppression system. The aeration device raises the level of oxygen and air in a body of substantially liquid fluid, such as an aerating-oxidizing pond, lagoon, basin, or reservoir. The aeration system is buoyant and floats on top of the body of fluid. The foam suppression system includes a submersible grinder pump coupled to a sprinkler head by a fluid conduction system. The submersible grinder pump draws in a fluid from beneath a surface of a body of fluid and pumps it through the fluid conduction system and out of the sprinkler head. The sprinkler head sprays the fluid drawn from beneath the fluid surface far outward onto an area surrounding the aeration device with surface foam. The falling water or fluid sprayed from the sprinkler head quashes the surface foam. The sprinkler head is disposed in a location on the aeration device suitable to suppress the surface foam.Type: GrantFiled: February 15, 2013Date of Patent: April 26, 2016Assignee: Airmaster Aerator L.L.C.Inventor: Dean A. Patent number: 8452925Abstract: Systems and methods for managing cached content are disclosed. More particularly, embodiments disclosed herein may allow cached content to be updated (e.g. regenerated or replaced) in response to a notification. Specifically, embodiments disclosed herein may process a notification pertaining to content stored in a cache. Processing the notification may include locating cached content associated with the notification. After the cached content which corresponds to the notification is found, an appropriate action may be taken. For example, the cached content may be flushed from the cache or a request may be regenerated. As a result of the action, new content is generated. This new content is then used to replace or update the cached content.Type: GrantFiled: October 14, 2010Date of Patent: May 28, 2013Assignee: Open Text S.A.Inventors: Lee Shepstone, Conleth S. Patent number: 7899991Abstract: Systems and methods which provide an extensible caching framework are disclosed. These systems and methods may provide a caching framework which can evaluate individual parameters of a request for a particular piece of content. Modules capable of evaluating individual parameters of an incoming request may be added and removed from this framework. When a request for content is received, parameters of the request can be evaluated by the framework and a cache searched for responsive content based upon this evaluation. If responsive content is not found in the cache, responsive content can be generated and stored in the cache along with associated metadata and a signature formed by the caching framework. This signature may aid in locating this content when a request for similar content is next received.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 2010Date of Patent: March 1, 2011Assignee: Vignette Software LLCInventors: N. Patent number: 5624574Abstract: A process for use in the final stages of purification of sewage water in which the effluent is placed under pressure by a pump and forced through a filter. Part of the effluent is sampled and chlorinated by a chlorine gas injector and then reintroduced into the lager body of effluent. The entire mixture is held within a detention chamber in order to allow the chlorine to dissipate, and then pumped out into a natural stream through a pipe in which air bubbles are injected in order to replenish the oxygen level.Type: GrantFiled: November 20, 1995Date of Patent: April 29, 1997Inventor: Dean Caldwell
