  • Publication number: 20210153326
Abstract: An LED light fixture having an inexpensive camera or sensor is disclosed. The LED light fixture utilizes a controller that is configured to turn the LED light on and/or adjust brightness of the LED in response to motion only within a perimeter programmed into the controller. This perimeter can be defined by known light output of known LED lenses. The ability to program light detection to be only within a given perimeter allows for the use of generic sensors, such as fisheye cameras, with varying lenses and LED bulbs to provide a lower cost option in motion sensing technology.

  • Publication number: 20200389962
Abstract: An LED array having a driver connected to a sensor. The sensor can be either integral with a controller or separate from the driver and in communication with the controller. The sensor is configured to sense one or more of the temperature, forward voltage, LED voltage, and/or total driver power. The controller is preferably configured for wireless connectivity with a local computer, such as by Bluetooth® or configured for an internet connection to allow for remote monitoring of the LED array. The controller can be configured to compare the sensed voltage, temperature, forward voltage, and/or driver power and compare it to a programmed and/or sensed base and notify of a fault. Alternatively, the controller can be connected to a computer via internet and/or wireless signal (such as Bluetooth®) to compare the sensed condition to a normal condition to determine if a fault has occurred.

  • Patent number: 9239288
Abstract: An aircraft light device has a base, a printed circuit board, a reflector and a cover-lens. The reflector is comprised of a number of reflective surfaces connected together to form a spline. Light transducers on the printed circuit board are of two main types, light emitters and light receivers. Light emitters provide light for illumination, while light receivers enable detection of received light. The two transducer types can be used alone or in combination.

  • Patent number: 8197115
Abstract: Light sources in a luminaire attach to the luminaire by one or more tabs. Up to three axis of rotation are possible. Bendable tabs enable a first axis of rotation of the light source. Light sources are rotatable about a mounting point to the tab providing a second axis of rotation. Some tabs are twistable about a third axis of rotation. Some tabs also conduct heat away from the light source. Tabs can also be formed in a baffle plate for new luminaires or for the retrofit of existing luminaires. Multiple types of light sources can be combined to provide luminaires with custom light patterns and intensities.

  • Patent number: 8192060
Abstract: An aircraft navigation light comprises a base and circuit board in thermal contact with the base. White and colored LEDs mount on the circuit board. A reflector-shade placed adjacent the LEDs reflects light from the LEDs in desired directions and shades other directions from view of selected LEDs. A light transmissive cover sealed to the base, encloses the circuit board, LEDs and reflector-shade. Temperature responsive circuitry on the circuit board regulates the current through the LEDs and reduces the LED current under high temperature conditions.
