  • Publication number: 20170303580
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a natural-based liquid composition for use with electronic vaporizing devices. The present disclosure is also directed to electronic vaporizing devices for using such composition. In one embodiment, the liquid compositions are water-based and are substantially free of propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin. In a preferred embodiment, the compositions may be augmented to include additives such as medicines, wellness elements, supplements, recreational elements, and natural elements performing the role of emulsifiers. The present disclosure is also directed to electronic vaporizing devices for vaporizing a natural-based liquid composition. The electronic vaporizing device may include the functionality to create specified or custom mixtures of a vaporizable material for the vaporizing thereof.

  • Publication number: 20140358764
Abstract: A system and methods providing an exchange network for valuing and trading of intangible instruments, such as one or more rights to an intangible property including a given intellectual property (patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade dress, trade secrets and/or the rights of publicity). The system and methods permits a party to access a database of the intangible instruments including data relating to identifying value of the instrument. The system and methods permits a party to perform due diligence on the intangible instrument and, as a result, to formulate a bidding strategy for the intangible instrument that the bidder believes is appropriate. If the bidder and the owner reach agreement on the price, a transaction for the intangible instrument is executed between the parties.

  • Patent number: 4944539
Abstract: This invention concerns a creepage control system for locomotives that optimizes adhesion while minimizing wasted energy, rail/wheel wear and shock loading on the drive train. The basis of the invention is to always maintain a small but positive value of the slope of the wheel-rail adhesion creep curve (or differential of adhesion versus creep) for all traction axles of the locomotive through microprocessor control. The value of the differential of adhesion versus creep is used to define an operating window for control and operation of motors continually in the optimum domain when high adhesion is demanded. When, due to a sudden increase in rail contamination, the value of the control function becomes negative, the microprocessor control reduces the generator excitation in stages until the function becomes positive and inside the operating window again. The microprocessor controls a rail cleaning system which is turned on or off depending on the cleanliness of the rail.
