  • Publication number: 20210061525
Abstract: A container latching system has an open container with a container lid with extended lip sections. Two slide lock latches are located over the lip sections on opposite sides of the lid. With the lid covering the container, the lip sections overlay the top edges of the container, the slide lock latches overlay a portion of the lip sections, and track slider members in each slide lock latch move along the lip sections to lock and seal the lid to the container.

  • Patent number: 10836547
Abstract: An air-tight storage container system has a container having an open top and a container closure unit configured to be placed over the top. The closure unit has a series of stacked, interlocking components, including a handle member, a flexible deformable gasket member, a snap inner piece, and a bottom member. When these closure unit components are interconnected and the closure unit itself is positioned atop the container, the closure unit is pushed and rotated, held within the container to establish an air-tight seal within the container.

  • Patent number: 10702095
Abstract: A liquid infusion system has an infusion chamber with open top and bottom ends. The top end has a removable cover. Flavored ingredients are placed in the chamber. A lower housing is rotatably secured to the bottom end of the chamber. A one-way valve located within the lower housing allows liquid flow in only a single direction. A stopper configured to be inserted into a bottle of virgin liquid is connected to the lower housing. When the system is tilted downward, virgin liquid is free to flow from the bottle and into the chamber. Bringing the bottle to vertical closes the valve and allows the virgin liquid and any ingredients placed in the chamber to steep, to produce a flavored infused beverage. The lower housing can be rotated and locked into a position in relation to the infusion chamber to prevent the flow of liquid into or out of the chamber.

  • Patent number: 8097768
Abstract: Preferred embodiments of this invention relate to a method for increasing fiber yield in a cotton plant by regenerating a whole cotton plant from a plant cell that has been transformed with a dominant negative allele for an endoplasmic reticulum located gene. The expression of this gene results in suppression of oil and protein biosynthesis in the developing seed and increased production of fiber in the plant.

  • Patent number: 7967230
Abstract: The kitchen tool is composed of: a handle, a support yoke, and a crushing plate. The handle is connected to the support yoke. The support yoke is shaped to form a parabolic arch with arms that are biased to spring inward or outward in an alternative embodiment. The end of each arm has a mounting hole along with three locking holes. These pivot axles are connected to the mounting holes on the support yoke arms. The holes and posts are arranged such that they for two positions for the device. In a first position the crushing plate is place is a position perpendicular to the support yoke arms. In a second position the crushing plate is place is a position parallel to the support yoke which makes the device's profile much thinner and easier to fit into a standard kitchen drawer.

  • Publication number: 20090308870
Abstract: A storage container with collapsible lid and utensil. The present invention consists of a base having a flexible and collapsible silicone lid or hood. This hood or lid allows for easy opening and closing without popping off or unscrewing. This hood or lid also ensures that when closed the food inside is fully covered from spills and splashes. Additionally as the flexible hood or lid remains permanently attached to the base of the container, it cannot be misplaced.

  • Publication number: 20090307912
Abstract: The folding ladle's primary function is similar to many other ladles found in the market today and known in the prior art, it can be used to scoop a standard size portion of liquid or powered solids from one container to another. The primary innovation of the invention is the flexible bowl, which allows the large scooping bowl of the ladle to fold in half for more compact storage. Once folded the ladle will hold this smaller position indefinitely until it is snapped back to its open position. This is achieved through the special shape of the ladle's bowl. When snapped into the closed position the size of the tool is greatly reduced in size and it fits more easily into drawers for storage.
